Years ago, my father purchased a small location on **************** in Manhattan to open small watch repair shop. One day, a man from this company came to "check the alarm." He tinkered with the quaint switch over the door for exactly one second and asked for my signature on what looked like a call sheet with other people's signatures, times and the date.Then, the police started coming to my father's shop complaining that the alarm is always being activated for no reason. The alarm company was supposed to call my father when he opened the store every morning to get the code to turn the alarm off, but they never did that even once from the first day!
