I have multiple sclerosis and needed to buy an adjustable bed which has enough room so that I can use the urinal bottle at night and be able to move from side to side because I suffer immensely at night with ambulation issues and cannot leave the bed to use the bathroom with no home attendant at night so I asked the advice of the retailer, **** which bed would be in my best interest as I needed a high low feature and he recommended a Flexabed 185 hi low which I purchased from him at Gem Wheelchair Service giving a $3,000 deposit on August 10th, 23 and the bed was ordered and delivered on September 9th, 23 when I gave the balance of $1800.00. This purchase was made with full confidence that the retailer was offering a good size and quality bed knowing my health situation and body size as he has dealt with me for years with the wheelchair business and he sold me a full size bed which I cannot move side to side on at all and have much difficulty using the urinal at night. When I tried to exchange the bed for a queen size bed saying that I was willing to pay the difference I was told that all purchases were final and that if I can't sleep on it that my dog could sleep on it instead. I suffer every night now and my multiple sclerosis has gotten worse due to the stress of having trusted this retailer that deals with sick people all the time and that I have been faithful to in purchase of mobility scooters for years and all he could do is mock me and tell me to **** it up. Please help me. I am suffering so bad with no sleep and cannot afford to just throw away $4,800 as I am on disability and have ********* I'm willing to pay whatever difference it is but I need to exchange this for a queen size bed of the same type and when I called the manufacturer they told me that I can only deal with the retailer.
