Culligan water of the Mohawk Valley is the worst place you ever want to rent a water softener from in the state. The service is the worst of worst. Ive rented from them for 5 years and when my contracts done so are they. Out of the five Years I've had them I've actually had decent water is not even two years. The manager there refuses to change the charcoal in the tank or try to fix any thing in less than months at a time. He always has some excuse not to fix it right. Give it Time, we were just out there, it should only be pumping a half inch of peroxide evey week, we have a tank on order, that took 8 months to get and still didn't work. We can't change the charcoal in the tank yet its too soon and we won't make any money or it cost to much. I can go on on and on. This water is burning our eyes and lungs but yet they don't care. We can't drink the water or wash our clothes in it or the turn nasty colors and smell. But every month I pay them . Don't rent anything from culligan they are the worst. You will have ok water for about 8 months and than the problems began they just won't fix it so you have good water again and will pay for a system that just doesn't work. And when the bills due you better be on time or they will hit u with late fees real quick. And the problems I've had when there genius supervisor decided to switch me back overe to chlorine is another nightmare of burning eyes , skin, and turning any jewelry black I'll save for my next post
