On Dec. 30, 2020, I received a procedure at the Eye doctor. I was told Insurance does not usually cover it and that I would have to pay $50.00 that day. I paid the money. I did not realize until I went to the eye doctor for my annual exam on Jan.04, 2022, that my insurance company had sent the $50.00 to the eye doctor. When I went to pay the co-pay I was informed I owed nothing as I had an account credit. I told them I would like the remaining $35.00 refunded. I was informed I would have to call "accounting". I called on May 25, 2022 and they said I should use it for payment the next time I went to the doctor. I told them I did not want to do that and asked that they mail me a check for $35.00. They said they would refund it. After several weeks, I called again on July 11, 2022 and was told by Vani they would escalate the matter. I called again today, July 25, 2022 and was told again by Cerole she would "send an email" to have it escalated. It appears to be some sort of call center I am reaching. I feel 2 months is adequate time to refund my money, especially since that should have been done it a year and a half ago, when they first received it. I am not confident I will ever receive a check. I am afraid their "modus operandi" is to do nothing until a person gives up or uses it for payment at the doctor's *******Customer response
