I brought my car into the dealership for my oil change as I have been for the last year or so. I have been thinking about trading my car in and have been asking the workers about different cars (which ones have the least amount of problems, best on gas, etc). When I returned to get my car, the service manager told me that I had an oil leak and needed to get it fixed...it would cost a couple of thousand dollars. I was upset because I am a single mother working several jobs just to make ends meet and trying to save money for a house for my kids and me. Then I went out to my car and when I started it, a warning light lit up and the dashboard said something about a tire monitor system needed to be repaired. I left the car running so I could show the mechanic what the warning said, and the service manager said she already knew about it...it happened when they were rotating the tires. She said that it was probably going to stay on. This oil change was about a week ago, and now since I have been trying to go to work, my car has been acting like it is going to stall, and because the tire sensor was broken from the tire rotation, I didn't know I was losing air until I was driving on my rim 2 hours away from my home. Then while I was on the side of the road in the evening, waiting for my tow, my cars electrical system started blinking and flickering like Morse code and my flashers went off. My car was completely dead and I was sitting in the completely dark car in the country with my windows stuck a partial way open...unprotected, with a dying cell phone. Before my simple oil change, my 2015 ***** ******* was running completely fine. I want all my repairs done and paid for by Tradition Chevrolet because they are responsible for all of this mess...as well as my missed time from work, as I have had to call in because I have no way to get to work now.

Before contacting this dealership, I regards to a vehicle, I was approved for a car loan at a rate of 11 percent and my credit was said to be 500-600. This was a week prior at another dealership. Upon selecting a vehicle and negotiating the price at tradition Chevy, I was told this vehicle was owned by an elderly woman that took excellent care of the vehicle. The vehicle had multiple body scratches, dents as well as a brake pedal sound. They stated the vehicle had just came in and they didn't have time to address these issues, but stated they would before the vehicle would be sold. Vehicle was listed online and this is how I located it so it was in their possession with enough time to list. During financing, I was told that they could not get me approved without purchasing their warranty. This was during a phone conference with Kyle, the finance manager. I immediately called him out on his tactics and informed him that it is not true and illegal. The bank has no say over purchasing a warranty. Kyle stayed firm and would not budge, totally denying me the ability to purchase the vehicle. After speaking with my sales person via text, which I have records of, I was told they were able to approve me without a warranty, but that my interest rate was higher at 14.5 percent. After I received the vehicle, it had not yet been fixed as previously discussed. They stated they would address the scratches and brake pedal, for which they did not. Second day of ownership, the engine light came on, and I returned the vehicle for service. Received the vehicle back, and the issues persisted. After three visits, they determined it was the fuel pump and replaced it. Issue came back shortly after, and they told me they would not fix it. After filing multiple complaints, they fixed the vehicle.

      To whom it may concern,

We talked to Mr ************ 12/15 to verify that the repair we correct, and He had no more issues, He said everything was good and that the engine light was off.

First diagnosed with a bad purge valve. It was repaired and returned.

The fuel pump was replaced, and afterword's a broken connector was discovered, also replaced,, and repaired under warranty. No cost to customer.

As for the extended service contract he did finance the vehicle and did not purchase one.

It clearly states in our business offices that all warranties and aftermarket products are optional.

      And not required for financing

If the business is willing to buy back the vehicle for the amount financed ($11,407) and the deposit ($10,000), total $21,407, then I will consider the matter resolved. I am currently waiting to hear back from Buddy at the dealership. Regards, ******* *********
