I had a stroke on Nuvember 28. Returned home and had a clogged toiilet. I called my plimber, Mike at Plumb Rite to help - this was Novembere 29. I had a Dr. appointment that afternoon. He implied that he "'might" be able to get it done. No show. He said that his son would be at my house the next day at the "second call.: At about 10:30 a.m. November 30 I called Mike again to confirm that day "second call" and needed to know when. He started yelling at me about his on show the day before and why. I said to stop yelling and just tell me when I would expect his son to do the repair. I couldn't wait all day and it was then mid morning. He kept yelling at me and I hung up[. I then called all plumbers in the area to help. ** ****** said that they would be there in the hour. I called Mike (who did not answer) and left a message to cancel that day because I had another plumber arriving. Mike's son arrived in the middle of ** ***** being there and demanded payment. I said NO. Mike called my phone and left a vicious voice mail. He then mailed the attached bill which I will not pay. I want him to understand that I will not pay for non services as well as verbal abuse. You do NOT yell at and fight with clietnts, especially after that they advise of a recent stroke. Poor business behavior. He has lost my future business and he WAS my plumber before this. Very sad.Business response

Response taken by phone: The customer called me very early on a Monday morning about the toilet. I told her we were booked and we would try to get there in the afternoon if possible and if not the next morning. She called later on Monday because she had to leave, I explained again we were booked and if she was not available, we would not be able to come until Tuesday morning between 10 and 1130. She called Tuesday at around 8:45 and asked where we were. I told her our ETA was between 10 and 11:30, as we had discussed the day before. She called me and left a message to cancel however my son was already in route to her condo. When he got there, another plumber was already there. We did go to her condo and expect payment for the service charge. We were in constant communication with this customer and were trying to work around her schedule as well as the appointments that we had already booked.
