My attempts to resolve this with Royal Caribbean and **************** Services have been unsuccessful. On December 22, 2022, on board Royal Caribbean's Radiance of the Seas, I purchased what was represented to me as a Kallati sapphire and diamond ring with the center sapphire weighing **** carats. Upon debarkation, I registered the ring with Kallati (article number ******) as per instruction. On January 12, 2023, an appraisal conducted by a ******************** of America ***** recognized certified appraiser identified the center sapphire as weighing **** carats instead of what I was led to believe I purchased (**** carats vs. **** carats). On January 16, 2023, I contacted ******* by phone and was told I needed to contact **************** Customer Service to initiate a refund. I was assured by ******* that even their items purchased on board cruise ships qualify for *******'s 30-day full refunds and exchanges. On January 17, 2023, I contacted **************** Customer and notified them of the significant carat weight discrepancy. I requested a full refund for the purchase price of the item and stated that I was more than willing to pay the cost to ship the return. I expected a full refund as it is not what I purchased nor what my receipt described. In fact, the ring is **** carats smaller than what I was told I purchased. I was also within Kallati's 30-day refund period. I submitted the requested documentation in a timely manner; however, Starboard now says that the appraisal is not sufficient. The **** carat discrepancy in the stone size significantly misrepresents the item I was led to believe I was purchasing. At the time of purchase, I trusted that the item I purchased was as it was described.
