I paid the registration fee for Valencia soccer club on April 10, **************************************************** July 2022. We were away for the summer and told the club general manager, *********************, that we will join the practices in August upon our return. He confirmed that is okay. Since we came back in August 2022, we have made multiple attempts to connect with *** *********** regarding practice schedule, when and where the practice will take place, gear purchase, but we never received any schedule and to this day we have had 0 practices with the club. They have not given us a schedule and have not informed us regarding the practice times and locations despite multiple email and phone calls on our end. We have tried to reach them over phone and email multiple times, but no one is answering on the phone or email. *** ********** told us that he will refund our money minus the fee for July and August two weeks ago, but we are yet to receive a refund. He has stopped answering our phone messages regarding when he will refund the money. We have all emails and messages saved. This is a fraudulent business which takes money from customers and then defrauds them without giving them back the money.Initial Complaint

On January 24, 2022 we paid $728 to Valencia Academy for registration fee for a spring break soccer camp to be held in ******** ** March *****, 2022. On March 17 we received an email that the camp was cancelled due to low enrollment and that we would received a refund within ***** days. However it is now July and we have not received a refund. We have tried to resolve this dispute with Valencia Academy directly without any success. We have called the two numbers on their website, emailed and contacted them via their website and on social media on multiple occasions, have reached out to ******************************* on linked in and via phone, all without a response. We have also reached out to our Bank/ Credit Card to help but that dispute is still in process.Customer response

At this time, I have been contacted directly by Valencia CF Academy New York regarding complaint ID ********, however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
The business has tried to shift to burden of the failed refund for the cancelled soccer camp to our bank ***** of America), claiming that the reason we did not receive a refund was because we filed a dispute for the charges. Valencia is unable to provide proof or a receipt for the supposed refund, inferring our bank blocked it. When we contacted the bank they said they would never block a refund/ credit from a merchant and had not heard back from Valencia either after contacting them multiple times on our behalf. The only reason we filed a dispute was because we had not received a refund within 60 days of the cancelled camp (we were told refund would come after 10 days) A dispute was necessary because the only known contact (********************) did not respond to any form of communication from us in March and April. We made numerous attempts to contact him via phone, email and social media, all of which was ignored. The first response from him came in July after I filed a complaint with you. I have never filed a complaint and have never had a worst customer service experience so consumers should be warned of this business. Thx for your assistance and follow up
