Adirondack Basement relieved my concern about how to rectify surface mold in a living space in my basement. This problem had accumulated over many years since room was updated in 1980. After following the preparation recommendations from Joe, the salesman who wrote the proposal (buying a special mask and cleaning radiator cover with bleach/water combination - which worked very well and was quick!,) and with room cleared of all furniture, the team from Adirondack Basement came and worked for 2 days (during oppresive hot weather, but were happy with cool basement), a drain system, wall moisture protection application, sump pump and commercial dehumidifier with drainage piping to outside were installed. (We have never had water in the basement, but had had dampness enough to have caused the surface mold). My living space is now dry, clean and will remain as such with periodic checks from Adirondack Basement to maintain warantee. The work team, led by Tim , was efficient, courteaous, and extremely pleasant to work with! Tim was thoroughly knowledgeable and reviewed the project before, during, and after the project was completed.

Adirondack Basement has made me a happy customer. The basement dehumidifier I purchased stopped running, and some message appeared on the screen. I called Adirondack Basement and they set up a service appointment for the following week. When they came to my house the service guy removed the non working dehumidifier, and replaced it with a new one. He then reset the new dehumidifier to the setting on the old unit. Then he said you’re all set, and said have a nice day, or something to that effect on the way out. I was impressed with the service, and I’ll definitely consider doing business with Adirondack Basement in the future.

Seth did a great job diagnosing the issues occurring with my almost six year old system, badly affected by tree roots. He triaged the necessary repairs to stay within my budget, and well as what follow up repairs would be needed as finances allowed. I appreciated his courtesy, effectiveness, and professionalism. Thanks also to Nick, the GM, for working with me to get this done.

Adirondack Basement came to provide my annual maintenance on by sump system that they installed. Bill S******** provided excellent service taking his time to ensure all facets of this triple sump system was working. I appreciated his input and the knowledge he shared during the visit. Worked with Adirondack Basement systems on two separate jobs - both were done expertly with great customer communication throughout the ordering, measuring, and job completion. They were a pleasure to work with and the work was outstanding.

I called Adirondack Basement System after having my the phlange from my pump dislodged, which I reset. Having done this I noticed a sticker on a pipe with the name of Adirondack Basement System as the installer. I had never noticed it before so I called them. I spoke with a woman who said it has been along time since it was installed but she was able to find the record and a date for "service " was made for 10/12/23. The service person , John, came out and evaluated the system and there were no repairs other than the Alarm system which I requested to have a new one. I even gave him a positive review. Since then There has been two rain storms, one I was not here for and unless its a huge storm my basement stays dry. The last one was massive and my pump did not work at all. I had flooding and luckily was here to move everything from being damaged. Since I am older and did not have "YEARLY" service that would have cost 250$ plus I believe I was sabotaged because of age and not having consistant service. I called and had a call sent to a service manager and he did respond- Austin. He came out and basically told me the pump is old and it gave out. The check valve for their system is attached to the unit, not 12-16 inches above like other systems. Austin compared the pump to a 3 year old Sony TV that stopped working- well my Sony is 10 years old but whatever. I was requesting he provide some level of accountability and he would not. So I guess this is why senior citizens need to constantly record or video anyone working in their home. Installing a pump is not rocket science but I wanted to follow what seemed to be protocol for a service call. I was unaware that I would be penalized for not utilizing them yearly. I honestly never knew nor did my partner. I wonder how many lower star reviews are senior citizens?????

I just had a basement system put in by the Adirondack Basement system. I have lived in my house for 6 months and have never seen the basement without water. Two days after my system was installed I had a water free basement. Zack, Nick, Tim and Ian were very kind, considerate, and hard working. They worked steadily and left my basement and surrounding area clean. So far I am beyond happy with the job that was done at my house.

Two years ago I paid a large amount of money to have Adirondack Basement put a complete system to get rid of water and mold in my basement. I had to have them come back to my house 4 times to fix problems that they created or didn't do properly. I had sump pumps, walls, flooring, outside drains and everything imaginable installed to get rid of my problem. Now two years later I have an area in the basement where there is standing water at times and a musty/moldy smell. I haven't paid off the loan and I still have the problem. It is like they covered over the problem and walked away.

My basement is pretty dry. Pump removes the coming water from the ditch channel regularly, but somewhere tiny cracks appeared on the block walls. I call the specialist from this service and asked him to repeal old paint, to fix the cracks and to pain walls with the new water sealant paint. When he came for the estimate, instead of this, he said that this service is not doing this kind of work and tried to sell me the expensive internal sheetrock panels to cover existing block walls. Finally, I've repaired this basement myself (in my 65 y.o.). The walls were repaired by liquid concrete and hydraulic cement, sanded and painted 2 time with the Latex Base Drylok Masonry Waterproofer. I gave myself the warranty for this repair for the nearest 10 years.
