Southtowns Hardwood Floors was referred by a friend who was very satisfied with his work. When he came to the house to quote he told me he has been in business for 10-years. I had a complex job in my whole house remodel which included a tear out and repair of old floors & installation of new floors (I wanted all wood style to to match the original 1920's wood) along with refinish the upstairs, refinish stairs and add some trim, He had to stagger the work over 2-months where he did the upstairs first, then came back for the first floor. He did an excellent job on my floors, I was particularly impressed that for the repair he wove the new wood into the old wood so when he sanded everything you could not tell there was ever a repair. One night I came to the house to view made the patches on the floor so I could visualize the color of the stain. I actually loved that since I could see what color would work in my home on a bigger sample rather than just a small swatch. Once I picked the color he sanded out the patches and stained the entire floor the color I picked. He was very flexible when I had to move out the date for the 1st floor because the drywall guys had not finished. I love the floors and am very very happy with the final result. I recommend him to my friend and family and he has gotten 2 jobs from reference.
