Mr. ********* originally ordered a Vinyl sliding patio door and the operation was to be one way. After the order was placed, signed for, and put into production; Mr. ********* called to ask if they can have the operation changed. We contacted the manufacturer for the customer to see if we would be able to get this done for them. At this point we told the customer it is not possible because the manufacturer wouldnt allow us to change the order because production on the product has started and was almost finished.Mr.********* then demanded that they must have the door with the reverse operation. As a curtesy we were able to work with the manufacturer to charge for a completely new door at a discounted price. We split the cost of this new door and charged Mr. ********* of the substantially discounted price from the manufacturer. After installation, Mr. ********* complained about the operation of the door. We dispatched our Service tech, and they found nothing wrong. After another complaint came in, we then asked the manufacturer to inspect the product. They replaced one of the panels for the customer. After another few complaints, we were able to get the manufacturer to replace the whole door, even though they disagreed anything was wrong with the door to begin with.Once we received the new door, we called to schedule installation, however, Mr. ********* seemed set on not accepting this door. We worked hard and stayed in communication with the manufacturer to get everything we could for the customer. The customer then said they did not want the vinyl door, they wanted an ******** door like their old door. This new ******** door requested would be almost 3 to 4 times the cost of the vinyl door they originally ordered and signed for.Once the price was given for a new ******** door, Mr. ********* declined and eventually accepted the new replacement vinyl door. We stand behind our work, and this is why we made all repairs, stayed in communication with the manufacturer and replaced the door with a brand new one for this customer. We do everything we can for our customers.

The company warranty , that parts and labor are covered is not totally true. I got many windows put in a little over a year and half ago and two of the windows are defective already . I called and they said I need to pay $90for someone to come and look at them. I asked if I can bring the windows to them to avoid this fee and they no. Not free be careful.

Ms. ****** has misunderstood our warranty. In the first year there is no charge for any warrantied repair for parts or materials. After the first year there is a flat $95 charge with no other charges for any parts, materials or labor. If the issue was not warrantied for some reason there would be no charge for our visit to make that determination. The $95.00 fee would be refunded. It is literally the best warranty in our industry. With this understanding I certainly encourage our customer to call us back and make an appointment for us to come out and assess the issue. ****** ******

This is the second time I have used unified. The first time was just for three windows and the job went beautifully. This time I spent many thousands of dollars on a new roof. And this time the job went beautifully as well. From estimate to completion, everything went off without a hitch. The materials are high-quality, the workmanship and installation went perfectly, the team of workers could not have been nicer or more respectful of property. From the beginning to the end, I could not be happier, and I am certain this roof will certainly outlive me. Unified is everything they say they are and more and I am proud to do business with them.

My *********** bought 2 doors from them & 1 was a security screen door. Right from the start, we had problems with the security screen door. I called them, " I told them the door leaking air on all sides & the screws are loose " They sent a repair person. He put the same screws in same holes & lowered the door alittle. " He told us that he couldn't lower the door because it may be hard to open or close due to the rubber on the bottom of the door " My *********** called again a few times without getting a door repaired. According to the company that how security doors are like that & anybody would tell us that's how security doors are, then gave us the company who made it. We called them & told us " The security screen doors are made for door frame & didn't know why Unified wanted us to call them. We have a 1 year warranty from them not ********* send the measurements to us to make the doors " During the heavy rain, water was coming inside the whole door & between the doors. We told again, they don't care & won't fix it. Go on their website & see what it says about their doors for yourself. DON'T USE THEM!!!!

We have gone out on many occasions to attempt to satisfy this customer. We tried our best to have them understand that a security/storm door is not air and watertight, hence the reason no one has them as the main door on their home. Especially in severe storms like the ones that have occurred recently, some water may penetrate any storm/security door because they are considered secondary units. After the customer wasnt satisfied with our response, they then called the manufacturer and was given the same response. We are sorry this customer is not happy with the responses, but we cannot promise something we cannot deliver. We are not the company who would tell a customer that a storm/security door is air and watertight when it is not. It is important to note, the main entry door we installed behind this security storm door does not leak air or water.

If you're going to make a comment, you should get the facts straight. First of all, we didn't get a new entry door where the storm/ security door. Your company were very rude & your own service man who only came once. The problem wasn't fixed & you're company told us to call the manufacturer, who did fix it. Also the only reason the water didn't come in our entry door was because we added a saddle to in front of the your door with a sealing on the back of it. You're company measured the inside where the only screen door was & put it on the outside. So, I still say people shouldn't use your company!!!

A rep visited the house, gave a quote and was very responsive to my questions. I ordered custom windows with him. After waiting 8 weeks for the windows to come in they called to schedule installation 2wks later. The day of install, the installer called out sick. We scheduled another date 2 more weeks. The day of install, the installer called out sick. We schedule a 3rd time, 2 more weeks. The installer arrived and then left stating that the custom windows are too small. I spoke to the owner about my experience. He was NOT warm or apologetic. He told me that the installer was wrong and that the windows were correct. They send a 4th crew, and install these tiny windows with large wood pieces around the frame. It looks horrible. This is not custom. They used windows that I could have gotten from anywhere and forced them in. Not good business at all.

We have been in constant communication with this customer. Unfortunately, we cannot control employees calling out sick. We do understand that the cancellations have caused an inconvenience to this customer and in return we have credited this customer $200 for this inconvenience, which they agreed to. The windows were custom ordered for this specific job. The previous windows had a thin metal frame around them, which is secured into the concrete, and should not be removed. Instead, we build a wood frame around and in between the metal frame to accept the new vinyl replacement frames. This wood framing is necessary to the installation of the new vinyl windows the customer ordered, as the vinyl ********************* cannot be installed unto a thin metal frame or directly to the concrete.

Although we complete about **** jobs per year and have a ****% customer satisfaction rating, there are times that we run into unforeseen issues on a job. We naturally would never charge a customer more money to complete a job if we ran into problems but it does at times take longer to complete as we have reorder **************** to get the job done properly. We would never leave a job improperly completed.*************************** Chief Executive Officer

Unified home remodeling has terrible customer service, here's why. After several attempts trying to reach the owner, ************************* he finally got back to me. we had a conversation and I had explained to him how an unauthorized check of my credit by one of his employee's, **************************** was a violation of our agreement. ****** responded to me in a very unprofessional way and said his employee (****) wasn't aware he was doing or did anything wrong by checking my credit without my permission. I guess in ******'s view ignorance of an act makes no difference even if it's wrong. To continue, with all the above being said, I didn't give up on trying to make my point. I sent several emails to ****** and showed various text by both **** and myself in order to provide more clarity to the situation, in hopes to correct the matter, However, there was no compliance on *****'s part and no resolution for me. In short, this was terrible customer service provided by the company, its owner and its sales person. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

********************** comments are totally inconsistent with the facts. He provided his social security number, other personal information and signed the application on line with a finance company with the hopes of getting approved so he could buy some of our products. His application was rejected so he could not do business with us. Afterwards he was informed by a credit agency that the finance company pulled his credit report. He somehow is blaming us for this normal part of applying for credit. The idea that he feels he did not give Unified approval to run his credit when he applied on line, provided his personal information and DocuSigned the application is dumbfounding to us. I was easily reached as I always am and was nothing but courteous considering ********************** refusal to listen to the facts. Because we are not the finance company, we literally have no way of removing a credit check from his credit report which is what he is insisting on. He will receive a declination letter directly from the finance company if he hasn't already and can certainly take this issue up with them but so far is refusing to do that.*************************

I got my roof and siding done with unified a couple months back and had the most amazing experience! The in home estimate was so informative and the salesperson was so helpful and answered all of my questions. Scheduling was quick and easy and the cleanup process after the installation left me so happy. Thank you Unified!

I had a wonderful experience with Unified. We needed new siding, a few windows, and a front sliding door. **** *********** was fantastic- he answered all of my questions and helped me pick out the color of my siding since I was unsure which would be best. The installation was quick and painless- I had a newborn at the time and was nervous about the noise/mess but they were very up front and accommodating. I am very happy with the way the house turned out and have had no problems at all. I would definitely use them again!
