I purchased my car at ****** on 12/29/23, I also purchased a service contract with the vehicle. On 1/25/24 the vehicle would not start and was towed to ****** for service. They replaced the fuel pump and I got the car back on 1/30/24. The day we got it back it stalled on me at an intersection, but restarted. 2 days later it stalled again. On 2/3 it wouldn't start again, we called ****** and they told us to bring it in on the following Monday. After looking at the car we determined that it still had the original battery so we replaced it and it seemed to run fine on Sunday, so we thought we had found the problem. On 2/9 the car was running rough and on 2/10/24 it stalled in the middle of an intersection for over an hour. We were able to push it into a parking lot, unplugged the fuel pump wiring harness and saw that it was damaged, plugged it back in and it started. Called ****** and advised them that the car is stalling and can not be reliably driven. We drive the car to ****** because I can not afford to have it towed for $170 every time it stalls. My son showed them pictures of the damaged harness. ****** advises that there is nothing wrong with the vehicle, they can't replicate the problem. They say they will drive it but then call me the next morning to come get it. Within 15 minutes of leaving their location it stalls again. Joe at ****** calls me a liar on the phone, wants a video of the vehicle stalling. I have videos of the vehicle stalling, I have a cop and a tow truck driver to confirm it wouldn't restart. The warranty company advises that I can go to a different garage for repairs if ****** will release the contract. I call Lucari to release the contract. ****** replaces the wiring harness, car doesn't stall anymore. I want the $100 fee back from ****** because they did not even attempt to diagnose the problem. ****** also advised that the harness should've been replaced when the fuel pump was replaced and this is a known issue.Business response
