  Hired company to do my roof on my mobile home, paid company in full. While they were on the roof they broke many ceiling rafters and caused ceilings to fall in, molding to break and an extensive amount of interior damage. An hour and a half into the job being started I went outside and made David Shaffer (business owner) aware of what was happening to ceilings and he came in to evaluate and did nothing but say well we have to walk around on the roof to do it. Company started the job at 10:30 am on November 1, 2021, I stopped them at 12:45 pm to let them know about the damages happening inside and crew completed job approximately 5-5:30 pm that same day. Then the following day (11-2-2021) we had a heavy rainfall late evening into the overnight. The morning of 11-3-2021 roof was leaking into the kitchen and David Shaffer was notified and he came out to “fix” the leak. He was asked about fixing broken rafters in the living room his crew broke and he said he would come back to do them And he fix the damage caused to kitchen rafters when I hire him to redo kitchen ceiling. David sent me a estimate to replace the kitchen ceiling totaling $3323.00 for a 12’x14’ room which is a bazar price which includes labor fees of $2400 for a 3 man crew for an 8 hour day. Then on 11-15-21 David and 2 workers returned for 1&1/2 hours to fix a massive leak in the roof they did occurring in the living room and fixed only 2 out of 5 broken rafters in living room. I then texted David a 3rd time on 11-16-21 to inform him living rooms still leaking and worse. He said he’d be over and never showed up. I then took it upon myself to get up on the roof and look at the problems to find half my roof is caving in due to the damages Shaffer Family General Contracting caused. I have before pictures of the mobile homes roof taken by David Shaffer himself the day he did the hired job and after pictures and video of the roof now after his job was completed. I hired him based on his credentials/insured

  I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
  
  **** ******* is my fiancé and him and I both hired him to do the job plus David Shaffer dealt with me personally seeing as my fiancé **** ******* travels for work and is not home Sunday through Thursday each and every week.
