I called Campanella Appliance Repair to replace few parts in my stove. ****** said that he needed to order the parts and that it would take few weeks. He charged me *****. I had to pay right away. After few months of waiting I called him. He said it was difficult to get the parts, but he was going to get them in a few weeks. Finally in January after calling him many times he sent his brother to repair few things. He brought k**** for the stove which were used, one was missing. Also he changed a cord on the ovens door. He charged me for labor 450 dollars. I am still waiting for the other parts, but no response. I call every day, no answer. I also text him, no answer. This has being going on since last June. He lied about the parts. He never told me that were going to be used parts. I would like my money back for the parts that I did not receive.

I had a refrigerator with a broken ice maker and an oven that stopped working. When ********************* came to repair they said the following: The ice maker could be repaired and that they would have to send out the mother board from the oven to be repaired as it could not be replaced. They charged me a total of $870 in diagnosis and parts. This was over thee months ago. They "repaired" the ice maker and to this date it still does not work. When they replaced the mother board in the oven it still would not work. He told me that I needed to spend another $450 on parts. Instead, I opted to buy another oven.To this date they do not return my calls or emails. I would request that they finish the repair on the ice maker.

I have a GE dishwasher with blinking lights about a year old. I spoke to him and he said it was probably the circuit board and it would be $145 to come and fix it. 2 scraggly looking guys in a car show up, fiddle for 5 minues and then conclude that-- Yes, it's the circuit board -- BUT THEY DIDN'T BRING A REPLACEMENT BECAUSE THAT'S TOO EXPENSIVE and it would be another $145 for them to come back with the part plus $250 for the part. Total cost over $500 or more than a new dishwasher costs. Wrote a bad review in response to his web site, and he keeps calling to argue. He doesn't seem to understand that if you pay someone $150 to fix your appliance, that mean FIX and not tell you they will charge another $150 to do what they promised to do in the first place. Don't use them, terribly ***/pfoessional and don't seem to know what they are doing.

I want ***** Campanella to stop taking advantage of customers.I contacted ***** to take a look at my broken ice maker. He responded quickly, came to my house on the day he said he would (2/24), and immediately diagnosed it as broken and I would need to replace it. He charged me for the house call ($175) and also charged me for the new ice maker ($330) and said it had to be paid for in advance. I thought this was unusual and I said so. He said he had bought parts for people in the past and then never heard from them and was stuck with the parts and so he no longer went out of pocket. I agreed to this since I was eager to get the problem solved. In total, after tax, I paid him $566.81.He told me the ice maker should come in a week or 10 days. After that time had passed, I checked in with him repeatedly and he was slow to respond. He promised me a tracking number but never sent one. Finally I heard from him on 3/17 and he said he would come install the ice machine 3/21 . He never showed and did not pick up any of my phone calls or return text/email. I finally heard back from him 5 days letter and he did come on Friday 3/25. He installed the new ice maker and said I should have ice within 4-8 hours. He charged me $100 for his labor. So at this point, with tax, I was in $679.06 There was no ice. I called him and, like always, he was slow to respond to calls/texts. On 3/28 he said he would order a new water inlet valve and let me know when it would arrive. I asked him how long he said 5-7 business days. After that time had passed, I kept checking in with him. On Tuesday 4/12 he said it would arrive by the next day. On 4/18, after not hearing from him, I asked if it had arrived and he said he would come the next day. On 4/19 he said he made a mistake and would come the next day. He never came and has not responded to any of my calls/texts since. It has been 3 MONTHS, I have spent $679, and still have a broken ice maker. I don't want anyone else to fall for him.
