            I wanted to have two motion-activated outdoor lights installed and based on recommendations from 'Nextdoor' I went with a company called Iconic Properties NY Inc.. I was told by the individual that showed up that he would be able to do it and that it would require a $300 deposit. A few days later I received the invoice and apparently there was a miscommunication because the overall price was much higher than I had been made to believe. I notified the company and advised them that I would be going with a lower-priced company that I found and requested a refund. Over a period of almost two weeks emails were sent back and forth assuring me of a refund that never came. I then called the number and always received a pre-recorded message that the number was no longer in service. I sent another email and this time there was no response. I have uploaded the email chain and at this point I am led to believe that this might be a likely scam that is using a legitimate companies name and even website.
