On Tuesday, December 12, ******* ********************** came to my home to look at replacing my shower handle. He described the work that was to be done but I had two parts (shower handle kit and kitchen faucet) purchased by another plumber who refused to pick them up and return for store credit. He only sent me his receipt which I can't use. ******* indicated he would bring back the items to Lowes for me as the store knows him very well and he won't need a receipt. Because ******* indicated he is well known in the community where I reside by both the owner and a long time resident, I trusted him and gave him the parts. ******** called me to let me know he probably can't return the items but "the manager may be able to do something" ******* also said he needs to go to another store for the parts and he will call me to update. I had indicated to ******* that I have guests coming and need the shower fixed and when I didn't hear from him started to get anxious as people were arriving. ******* finally texted me at 5:30 pm saying his daughter was in an accident and that he could do the job Thursday, December 14 which was fine. I also texted him the receipt I did receive from the first plumber as ******* said he would stil try to get store credit. Sent text on Wed Dec 13 to confirm Thursday appt which he did Thursday, December 14, no call/no show. Waited until 1:03 pm and finally sent a text asking if he was coming only now to be told his dog dies and that he has lots of family issues right now. As I had an emergency situation, I had to find someone else and asked him to return the parts. This is when ******* ghosted me the entire day so I went to the police station for help. Mr. ********************** was supposed to return the items to the detective Monday, Dec 18 at 10:30 am to a home right in my community, but no showed again. I want the shower kit and shower handle kit returned as this contractor betrayed my trust andhis conduct highly unprofessional, unethical and fraudulent .
