This practice is unprofessional, unethical, deceptive and predatory.Attached billing receipts were fully paid. The paid bills do NOT include the final cost of permanent bridge. It was never provided to me.After many visits over 1 year of suffering with a painful temporary bridge, AND the unnecessary removal of 5 healthy upper molars the *** demanded $**** more for the new bridge.I am 94 years old. I was not given a treatment plan or estimate.I was unable to eat with the painful temporary and several times returned to Dr ********** office.There was no initial paperwork provided on the cost or scope of this procedure. Payment was demanded up *********** healthy teeth were removed apparently to increase the cost of the replacement bridge. This is contrary to best practice. *** caused pain and suffering, abusing my trust in medicine.No translation was offered to me, a Spanish speaking patient. The office secy was rude and disrespectful. After a year of struggling with a painful temporary I became unwell, disheartened and lost weight from a liquid diet. Records show all appointments re: painful temporary bridge.Finally the office secretary, still not in consultation with the ***, demanded another $ **** for the intended permanent bridge!When I protested that I had paid, ********************** was rude and unprofessional and refused to install the bridge, demanding more payment. He has no respect for patients, whom he knowingly puts in ***** way for profit.I demand return of all fees for the unnecessary removal of 5 healthy teeth, done without explanation nor consultation with me. The *********** will determine other overcharges that I shall seek.This delay in providing the permanent bridge caused me to be unable to eat solid food, loss of weight and seriously affected my health. I will contact the ********* of Professions with my complaint.I now must find an ethical dentist to provide the bridge I require.Attachments:
