On Wednesday June 14, 2023 I frequented our local McDonald's and placed an app order with multiple food items. When my 15 year old son began to eat his filet o'fish he ingested foreign objects that were contained in the *******************. These resulted in his throat being irritated and scratched. I contacted McDonald's corporate through their website and was reached out to via email. I will be speaking to their general manager on Saturday and kept the item as proof, along with pictures. I am seeking a monetary resolution as well as additional compensation for pain and trauma for this extremely dangerous food incident.Business response

To BBB,
After receiving the information of this customer complaint, I proceeded in the following manner:
1) I contacted the supplier of the product to make sure they were aware of the incident.
2) I called the customer personally to make sure I was made aware of the exact details. Most important to me was that the individual was not hurt and no medical attention was needed.
3) I made sure that the customer was refunded for the product and sent her a few courtesy gift cards so that she could visit the restaurant at no charge.
**4) I apologized to the customer and hope that she, and her family, remain loyal customers.
