I went to this establishment to get a bridesmaid dressed hemmed only on 5/4/23. The staff had me try on the dress, which fit without any issues, in-order to mark how much to hem. The staff then informed me it should be done 5/18/23 and took a $40 deposit. On 5/19/23 I went back to get my dress and check the work, and the dress did not fit correctly and was very tight and did not zip in the back and I was informed to have "someone at home pull together to zip" and I wore different undergarments on that day which was the reason. I then was told the total was $163 which is very high for just a hem. The dress was hemmed to an extent in some manner since the length was correct, but also altered throughout the entire dress on the sides and bust area, to the point it does not fit anymore and is unwearable. I did not request any alterations besides a hem, and was not measured for any other alterations, and did not give permission for any alterations besides a hem. The establishment insists the dress was not altered. I would like a refund for the $203 I paid for this service, and I would like another $200 to reimburse the second dress I had to buy for the wedding, since the original dress was altered to an unwearable point.Customer response
