On 3/7/22 Shisler Electrical came to our home to repair, upgrade or replace several items. We asked them to place covers on two electric connection/joints in the attic, remove an old outdoor light and replace it, shorten a length of excess wire that was bunched up on shed wall, repair a bad outlet in kitchen, and replace a bathroom timer switch. The electrician arrived between 9 and 9:30 a.m. and worked until 2-2:30: five hours. Within days when we realized that the "repaired" kitchen outlet was not working, we called the company and they sent someone out on 3/10/22, and he fixed it. Within a few days, we realized that the bathroom timer switch did not work. We called Shisler and left a message with the office that it wasn't working. They didn't call back, instead we received the bill dated 3/30/22. It itemizes the hours worked on 3/7/22, as 8 hours plus 1 hour for 3/10/22. In all we have called Shisler at least 4 times and emailed once, explaining and asking them to please contact us. Each time we explained to an office person, that the timer switch was not working, and that if indeed they charge by the hour, there was a mistake in the number of hours charged to us, which comes to a $204.00 overcharge. The bill was due on 4/30/22; we called each week thru April, and spoke to someone for the last time on 4/28/22. Each time we spoke with them, we explained that we would like to pay our bill, and asked for someone to please call us so we could resolve the issues. On 4/29/22, to avoid further problems with them, we went ahead and paid the bill ($671.76) in full, sending the check in the mail. We are very unhappy with the bill, the dead timer switch, and the lack of accountability and honesty from Shisler. We feel we have been grossly overcharged. Although we have no bad feelings against the electricians themselves, we never want to do business with the company again.Business response
