I’ve been waiting almost an entire month for an $808.92 refund check. The first week and a half they had a system shut down and “weren’t able to do transactions”. I then received a call from a woman named Beth (manager) that she entered my information and a check was cut and should be delivered by 7/10. I called on 7/15 because I still hadn’t received it but she was OOO so I spoke with a woman named Kayla who said she’d check on it for me. She said my check was cut and mailed on 7/12 so to call back if I haven’t received it within the next few days. I still haven’t received my money and am being given the run around.Review from FATIMA W

Racism at Maguire. On the morning of Wednesday, July 3, 2024, I drove up to the body shop, I didn't see any signs about where to go or pull up. I pulled inside the body shop, and immediately Steve comes out and started yelling at me as he approached my car in a hostile and aggressive way. He yelled, what are you here for? So, I yelled back at him that I am here to see Wendy, and that is when she came out of her office and told Steve to stop and told him to go back to the car he was working on. At this point, I am going back and forth with Steve when he said to me, **** you. So, in kind, I told him to **** and go back to his mechanic work. That's when he came back to my car and started yelling violently for me to get out. I told him that I'm not going anywhere. I asked Wendy for the contact information to Steve's boss. When Wendy was done wrapping the film, she presented me with a business card that had the contact information to Steve's boss, and his name. Wendy said that she will guide my car out of the body shop, so she went outside. As soon as Steve saw that Wendy was no longer in the immediate vicinity and I'm starting to back out of the body shop, he made the statement, "See, that's why Black people are ******* (the n-word)." Things really escalated when he called me, my over 70-year old mother, and niece that word. I stopped back out at that point, opened my door and said, "Black people are what?! Say it again! Say it again so that I have more to tell your boss, your ******* racist *******." Steve comes from back around his car and starts to approach the passenger side of my vehicle where my elderly mother was sitting as if he was going to physically assault her. That's when I unbuckled my seatbelt and jumped out of the car and I told him, "I wish you would." He saw me get out and stopped and came back towards my direction. Wendy comes back into the shop at this point and is telling us both to stop. At this point I enter back into my car, and begin to pull out.

I am so sorry that this happened. Can you please let me know what location this occurred at? We do not have a body shop in Grand Island and i am not sure who Wendy is. I want to look into this. Do not trust Maguire Hyundai of Grand Island. After purchasing a vehicle within 36 hours the front end started shaking took it back for service. One of the front rims was bent. They put it on the back of the car so the front end wouldn’t shake no more told me they would order a new rim since then it’s been almost 4 weeks. They don’t return phone calls every time. I do speak to someone they give me the runaround, about four weeks after purchasing this vehicle I get a letter from the DMV saying my license will be suspended for lack of proof of insurance. Come to find out they sent the DMV the wrong Vin number so I had insurance on a totally different car the plates didn’t match , the license was going to be suspended for 30 days. I got the title from Albany for a totally different vehicle since this problem they have been very ignorant to the Problem that they made so pretty much what I’m saying don’t trust or go to Maguire Hyundai grand Island to purchase a vehicle or to get Service done.Review from harold l

Tried to say my car was in 3 accidents and only gave me 7.5k for it when they said they'd give me 7.9k for it. Told the sales associate the tires on the truck I got had bad tires and they were like oh it's fine, and found out they sold me a 33k truck with chopped tires, so had to go out and spend another 1k on tires. Entire time I was there for the sale they tried selling me their warranty 5 different times to make more money off me. The sales associate kept going back to the manager and the manager said" did you try this" Won't be buying another vehicle from a Maguires ever againReview from kelly r

On 11/24/23 I purchased a used 2020 ***** ********* ***** ***** Most of the transaction was done online and over the phone. no mention of dents to the body in any of the pictures online or phone conversations. Damage was documented when the vehicle was picked up. The salesman stated that he had to get approval from the sales manager before the dents could be fixed. On 12/04/23 I was notified by the salesman that they were not going to cover the repair and it was my responsibility, because the vehicle was sold as is.Review from Julia C

From my sales person (Lou) to the service advisor (Steve) and everything in between.. I have been treated with nothing but respect. I’m very happy with all services I’ve received and even my shuttle driver was so nice. I couldn’t ask for a better dealership than Maguire ************** of Syracuse NY. Service department is a scam. Brought in 2016 Nissan Altima for a rough idle and slow start and after $1700 in repairs not fixed and asking for more money and cannot tell us whether it will fix the issue. We brought it to the Nissan dealership thinking they would have the best ability to get this car fixed little did we know. It seems like they are taking advantage by doing unnecessary work.Review from Lewis C

If I could give this place a negative rating I would. They don't stand by their loyal customers, since ***** was sold, no one helps out my parents. They have bought multiple vehicles from this dealership over the years, and have had no issues until Maguire bought it. The latest is a major issue with their BRAND-NEW car!!! The car is undrivable.. they rely on this car for Doctor appointments and other things, NO LONER Car is available to use.. no response from the dealer ship.. They cant get the car in until 3 weeks after the initial problem started.. I am so irrate that they take advantage of my parents this way!!!
