Drove 2 hours to ******** to pick up a transmission. Upon installation the transmission is worse than the transmission that was originally in the truck. I asked for a partial refund and the counter employee tells me to take it out and bring it back. The transmission is no good, and with the price of gas it costs me about $200 to get there. I asked for a partial refund and I will send a video of the malfunctioning transmission. Still requesting I remove the transmission and bring it back. Horrible experience and horrible business ethics. Counter employee tells me "No we do not test them they are crashed cars."Business response

As we explained to the caller, our parts have a 90 day warranty. we would gladly give a refund but the parts needs to be returned. The part was not purchased by ****************, but by an auto shop. The auto shop is well aware of the risk in purchasing used auto parts from salvage yards. We can not test transmissions from a car involved in an accident. The autos are not drivable. **************** should have brought the part back to the shop that fixed his car and they in turn should arrange either a swap for another transmission or return for a refund.
