Tre-Gen Concrete Corp started work on my driveway on 6/15/2020 and was generously paid 19,500 on 7/21/2020. Within a couple of weeks, I started to get water in a side room of the garage, which I use for storage. In the 23 yrs at this residence, this is the first time I've had a water issue there. During the excavation of the driveway Tre-Gen Jr. dug up a drain tile (orangeburg). I thought it to be connected to the downspout. I ran the water hose into the downspout for several hours at the end of their work day and saw no visible signs of water in the excavated site. They proceeded with their work to completion without re-connecting the drain tile. Speaking to a contractor friend, he advised that the drain tile should have been connected prior to backfilling because the orangeburg was connected to the footer drain. It was explained to me that several days after a moderate rainfall or snow melt, the water settles to the footer and backs up with nowhere to go, and rises to the garage floor. Tre-Gen Jr. was advised of my issue (his oversight) in Aug 2020 when I saw him at a job site. He assured me it would get fixed but to be patient as they were very busy. I've called and sent numerous text messages which I have saved, the last which was on 12/14/2021 from Tre-Gen Sr. that read "Yes ***! We are cleaning debris from our pole barn...As soon as we finish your next" I've had to vacuum 9 gal. of water after every moderate rainfall / snow melt for the last 20 months. On one occasion when Tre-Gen Sr. came to visit me in July 2021, he claimed that "when he was on a job and ran across drain tile, he would always reconnect". A lesson his son Tre-Gen Jr. had not learned yet. I keep hearing "We're Busy" and "Your Next" When working on my driveway, I got along with all the workers to include Jr. & Sr. Treated them like family. Fed them every day. It puzzles me that they would be so dismissive & inattentive to correct a wrong. Please help me resolve this. I've been more than patient
