In July 2023 I met with owner regarding having a dress made for a wedding. I gave pictures of style color material and drew a picture of a design I would like. He took measurements etc and quoted me $1250.00 and requested half down deposit of $625.00. I kept in touch via calls, text, and was asked to come for a fitting end of September. When I arrived he told me”they had to redo because I made changes- which I did not I sent him a picture of collar I wanted one month prior. I again talked in November 2023 and requested at least a picture of the material they were using and he said he would- a few weeks later he never sent the picture and told me the person was going to be away until after January 15, 2024 and to call after that. I called again and he still had no answers making several excuses etc. I asked for at least a picture of the pattern they made- he in turn sent me a picture of a old ladies dress and I told him this is not a pattern he replied” it’s the sleeves you wanted” which it was not. I then told him I wanted my money back , I followed up with a letter and 2 phone calls. Attempted to email but his listed was not a legit email address. Still no response and finally he answered the business phone and told me “ his business is bad and he has no money” I told him this was not my problem etc. I have exhausted all my options and do not wish to speak to him again out absolute frustration etc. Do not know what direction to go into.
