This business is trying to charge me 500$ for a missed appointment. I applied for a Care credit card for dental work. They charged my credit card before the procedure happened so I disputed the charges. Their policy says they will charge 10% of the procedure if you cancel the appointment late. The procedure did not cost $5000. And now they will not communicate with me or send me a detailed invoice for the procedure.Customer response

Last year I enrolled as a ******** recipient, my dentist at the time does not participate as a ******** Dentist and Aetna has 2 dentist in the area I live at, I chose Kingston Dental because it was closer to my residence. I am dissatisfied with the service I received and sent a letter expressing that. I can provide a copy of the letter that was sent to both Kingston Dental and Aetna.I also asked for a copy of my dental records. Trust is an issue, the dentist did not inform me about replacing 3 crowns, I only found out when I received the Predetermination of Benefits letter from Aetna and called the office. I was told they needed to replace the crown to set the bridge on, sounds stupid but I went along with it.At the next appointment, I sat in the chair and my existing crown was removed and a new one was put in. It looked just like the other crowns I currently have and when asked no explanation was given.I sent an email multiple times asking for my dental records and told them I will come to the office to get them and will sign for what I received.I went to the office and asked to speak with ****, the woman I am meeting with to get my records, she handed me a clipboard with about 5 or 6 pages for me to complete, I told her as I stated in the email, I will sign for the records I receive and will not be completing the same forms I did when I enrolled as a patient. She started to raise her voice at me and I told her to stop. She walked away, I waited and she never returned so I left the office without my records. My new dentist is asking for the dental records and I need your help to get them. I will only sign for the records received, that's what I need help with - get my dental records I found out the 3 extractions they wanted to do, there was no need for that and all I needed was an implant for a loose tooth I had, that was the purpose of going to there.
