My mom and I purchased a car at Prestige Toyota of *********** Thursday, September 27, 2023. Everything went fine until i requested that a wheel spinner on our old car which , we were trading in , be transferred to the new vehicle. I showed the individuals involved my drivers license and said it was not illegal after they claimed it was. Then after i appropriately stood up for myself, they told me to stop yelling at them, which I was not doing ..i was frustrated as a disabled individual who needs the wheel spinner to dtive safely, and it is on my drivers license.My complaint is primarily based on the attitude of the personnel' toward someone who is only looking out for their ********** until this point, everything was going smoothly. I understand that if laws have to be changed that's something to be taken up with the state legislature,but the attitude of people concerning wheel spinners and how they relate to customers must chsnge. I do not appreciate being yelled at and berated, especially when we paid cash for the vehicle we purchased. Honestly, I am debating whether to retain counsel to pursue a negligent inflicion of emotional distress charge .I graduated law school but am not currently practicing and o generally hate conflict around these issues but when wrong information is conveyed, I feel conpelled to act
