I would never go back to this office again! Our puppy, 5 mos old Golden, didn't poop for 24hrs and struggled throughout the night every half hour with no success. I brought him in for an exam and Dr. M**** recommended an xray... OK. She said to provide my name and number and they'll call me later. The tech came in with a blank paper with a place for my name and number at the bottom. They kept him for several hours, gave him IV, mess, Xray, sent to radiologist, etc... I came to pick him up and the charge was almost $900!!! Shocked, I asked for what... which they said the above. Then the girl at the desk said, "it was lower than the maximum quote we provided". I said, cost was never explained to me. Well, on the sheet that I printed my name and number, they printed an invoice with a "min" and "max" cost... which I never saw. Well, what they did was print my invoice ON THE VERY SHEET I PUT MY "CONTACT INFO" ON with my name and number! Well, I paid. I called the next day to speak with Dr. M**** and she wasn't there. The OM called me and I just asked to have the cost be closer to the "min" which was approx $550 due to the deceptive practice. She wasn't having it. No apologies. Nothing. Dr. M****, practice owner, never called me. They wanted me to come in the following day for another xray ($600). Needless to say, I didn't go for the 2nd xray. I researched online about remedies for constipation and gave him some pumpkin. 24hrs later, he was all better. You think a good Vet might even suggest something like that? Not this office! It's a business and home pumpkin remedies don't help the bottom line. I would never recommend this office: unethical, unprofessional, and downright shady!
