Absolute nightmare of a company, DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE do business with them. They put my account on hold, didn't notify me and continued to collect rent from my tenants for 3 MONTHS! It took me 20+ hours to finally collect my rents and I still have no idea why my account was on hold. RUN AWAY FROM RENTREDI.RentRedi Response

Hi ******, We apologize for the inconvenience you experienced with your RentRedi account. However, we must clarify that RentRedi does not put accounts on hold. Our payment processor is responsible for account holds, which are based on various variables and mandated by regulations. Unfortunately, these reasons are not communicated externally, even to RentRedi. As soon as your account was put on hold, we notified you within the app, and your Merchant Account displayed as "On Hold". We strive to actively partner with our customers to resolve these holds as quickly as possible by acquiring documentation. However, the payment processor's underwriting team has the final say in the validity of documents, and they *** request additional documentation after their first request if needed. We apologize for any poor communication that *** have occurred during this process. We understand that this was frustrating for you and appreciate your patience while we worked to resolve the hold and refund your annual subscription fee. If you have any additional concerns or questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. We value your business and are committed to ensuring a positive experience for all our customers. We are landlords that have used this app since Sept 2022. I was pretty smooth sailing until Jan 2023 when our rent collected got placed on hold. I was extremely busy with work and figure everything was fine with the account and hadnt checked it. They stopped depositing our rent checks Jan 05 and never notified ** with an issue. We are currently on day five trying to get our 14 thousand dollars that owed to ** with no help from customer service. The support team says we have to deal with the problem via email and has hung up on ** numerous times. Our bank accounts are currently overdrawn.RentRedi Response

I tried RentRedi as a property manager of six properties. My first vacant property, I put in the data, got the application sent out, and the potential tenant spent $35.00 to apply. The next day, I logged in and the reports said Check back in 10 Minutes. The next day, same thing. I spent the next SIX DAYS on the customer service/tech support chat. Every day was the same answer. ************* is getting back to ** ASAP. I finally demanded a refund. They said no please give ** more time theyre sending me the correction right now! Of course, that never was completed. I cancelled. This company is NOT trust worthy. Imagine the same problems with rent collection?! I would NOT recommend.RentRedi Response

I signed up with rentredi because it advertises that one of the benefits it includes in the package is background checks. It doesnt say there is an additional fee. I thought this was a pretty neat feature because where I live people are pretty low income and it would be nice to cut them a break. As it turns out there is a $35 fee for each check. I felt their ad should have stated that there is an additional fee for this service but it doesnt. I feel this is false advertising.RentRedi Response

Hi *****, thank you so much for your feedback. On our Marketing page and in our app when landlords generate the background check, it states there is a tenant-paid $35 fee before sending. This cost is to verify the tenant screening and produce a credit, criminal, and eviction report from TransUnion, who applies the fee. If youd like, some landlords reimburse the fee for their tenants. However, we understand this solution is not for everyone. We appreciate your feedback and will pass this information along to the team for further review. I signed up for an account and paid the upfront annual subscription fee. I planned to use your service to manage three properties that I own. I read all the training, set up my properties, rents, tenants, and leases and was off and running. A few days later, I attempted to sign in to my account to see if my tenants had signed their new lease. I received an error message that said, "The user account has been disabled by an administrator." I contacted RentRedi support and was told that my account had been locked and disabled because RentRedi can't process payments on my behalf. I asked for an explanation and no one could tell me why. I just kept being told that my account had been disabled. This was done without any notice. I never received any communication that this happened and I only found out because I tried to login and realized my account was locked.After some pestering, I was able to get a refund for my purchase. After some rework, I was able to get my tenants to re-sign their leases and reprocess rent payments using a competitor of RentRedi that I purchased.A month later, my tenants started getting emails from RentRedi saying that their rent is late. Of course, this isn't true. They paid through another service. But I can't login to RentRedi to stop these messages because my account was deleted by RentRedi. There is no way for tenants to unsubscribe to the late notices, either. So my tenants are getting harrassed by RentRedi with inaccurate late rent notices. RentRedi support has been unresponsive.I am fiercely disappointed in RentRedi for canceling my account without notice, making me beg for clarity and a refund, continuing to harass my tenants after I am no longer a RentRedi user, and being unresponsive to my request to stop harassing my tenants. I strongly discourage anyone from using RentRedi.RentRedi Response

Worst application I've ever used. Tech support is terrible and you can't get anyone on the phone. I would not recommend this service to anyone. Landlord, tenant, or anyone who generally likes things to work, DO NOT USE THIS APP.RentRedi Response

It is my opinion that RentRedi is dishonest and should be avoided. I setup an account to review their funtionality and some of it look ok but it didn't seem ****** impressive so I decided not to utilize their services. At renewal time they charged me the annual fee without any invoice or forwarding. I contacted them on the day the pulled the fee and they said, "We unfortunately don't offer refunds...". They then instructed me as to how to cancel their services which I tried and their software takes you through several page flow and then just hangs so it is impossible to cancel. I have tried to contact them again to report this and they do not respond. I can see by their BBB rating that others have similar opinions. **************RentRedi Response
