I hired Eastern Electric Contracting to come over and do electrical work so we could have our new pool set up to use. On several occasions I was verbally told a crew was coming to the house to work on this job. I took time off of work and no one showed up. I called their office and left messages and no one replied. I was in the process of getting another company. Then two workers showed up on a random day, unannounced. Our security cameras alarmed us. However we were out to work. The job was not completed and was not done properly, and will not pass inspection. It is not safe. The price I agreed on with the owner was $900. I spoke to the owner of the company originally and he came over to my house and we went over the project, and agreed upon this price. I did most of the labor myself to start the job, including digging all of the trenches. I had to cut the some of the conduit the workers put in because it was almost 30 feet to long, and some of the conduit wasnt glued together. The conduit that they used was supposed to be 2 inch. They only used one inch. I am going to have to replace it. The pool isnt bonded and there is copper cable laying on the ground next to the pool in piles, and the conduit isnt secured coming out of the electrical panel. They didnt put a frost shield on the conduit that goes into the ground so eventually it will crack and fail. The conduit that runs to the pool has a hole drilled into the side and there is a ground wire that goes to another outlet. Water can get into the hole. Its not safe. They didnt bury any of the conduit.Unfortunately there are multiple other issues with this job.
