I received holiday decoration services from MC Holiday lighting in December. The company was erratic and unprofessional, so I asked them to leave the decorations (lights, ******** etc.) at my home as I was not interested in paying them to store the lights or do them again next year. The company instead, took the lights, and is now demanding cash payment before returning them to me. I offered to pay them by check once they were delivered, given they were impossible to get in touch with for the original install. They have continued to harass me by text and email demanding cash payment and will not accept my check payment. According to their invoice, they are holding $1,800 of my paid for dcor (I have already paid ***** of the $2,827.91 cost of goods and services), and my remaining balance is $1,019. As you can see - they hold more in my paid for property than I owe them, so I feel accepting my check upon receipt of stolen decor is reasonable and expect them to agree to this.Customer response
