      I am in the process of getting a metal roof installed on my house. I met with a salesman named Dale and picked my color based on a sample sheet. My house is navy blue with grey slate steps . The roofing color I picked was based on a sample sheet which was provided to me. The color I picked is called ********* ***** ***** and is very dark . Lakeside roofing or ***** **** showed up on 12/29/23. They started with prepping my roof . I left in late afternoon and returned in early evening when it was dark and noticed they left metal roofing on my lawn. I couldn’t see the product until the morning and noticed the color is completely different . I called the company and told them not to proceed . I spoke to several employees at the company and my salesman and have been told repeatedly that I’m imagining the error and that I received what I ordered . All of my savings is tied to this project and my anxiety is through the roof. I’ve been told to act like an adult and to stop manipulating and gaslighting. The milk chocolate brown roofing will look hideous on a navy blue house . If the color is ********* ***** ***** as they say it does not match what I picked. I need to get the actual color that I picked . I paid a 5,000 deposit

      I am unsure of why this complaint was filed. Ms ********* was unhappy with the color SHE chose, although the color charts were slightly off, our Roofing Specialist Dale carries actual samples of the metal WHICH ARE EXACT MATCES. Ms ********* called Dale when she realized she did not like the color she chose, Dale immediately went to her dwelling. Dale returned the unwanted color and ordered her another color that she had picked out, (black). Although she was charged a restocking fee, she went with a completely different style metal as well as color which was a slightly cheaper price. Ms ********* signed the changed order and seemed pleased with this.

      I recently filed a complaint against Lakeside Roofing. I never heard back from the BBB and then found out my case was closed ( ********) I read the reply from Lakeside roofing and it’s inaccurate . I hired Lakeside Roofing this fall. Dale was the salesman and He Did Not PROVIDE any metal color samples . I picked the burnished slate from a paper sample sheet . The color looked black that I chose and that is why I picked it. The metal that arrived was brown . I was very upset and talked with the project manager who argued with me and stated it was what I ordered . I showed him my color sample and he continued to disagree with me . I reached out to neighbors who supported me after I showed them my contract and sample sheet and reinforced me that it did not match and was significantly different . I called Dale who refused to come to the work site. I had to ask the crew to leave . I had to pick a different color and type of metal because otherwise I’d need to pay 900 instead of the 700 that I paid and my budget was stretched My friend *** was there and I agreed to the change order because I did not want the ugly brown metal on my roof . I am happy that I have the color I want now . I had to pay for their error I had no choice . The crew had already been on my roof and started prepping it . In addition a storm was coming! I want my 700 refunded ! If I have no recourse i will give them a 1 star.

      The customer was originally given the color that she chose.  When she asked for a change, the charge associated with that change was explained both, verbally and in writing.  We also had her sign this change order form (attached to BBB), which shows her consent to make the change and the $700 extra cost that was associated with that change.  She signed.   Therefore, customer was given a service and product and charged accordingly for that service and product.  No refund is applicable.  Thank you.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  I do not accept their response because the error was their fault and they need to accept responsibility . They have experience with selling this product and should have known that the paper sample was not accurate  . Their workers had already been on my roof . I signed a change order because I didn’t want to leave my roof compromised and needed the job completed . I want them to accept responsibility for their error and reimburse me the restocking fee. If they are reputable they would accept responsibility . I was not in a position to pay more and didn’t have an option . In addition they left a mess on my property that I found after the snow melted .    Regards,  ****** *********

      I would like to file a complaint for ********* ********* ******* **** ***** *** ******* ** ****** *************  Other number is ************* They have not return my deposit of $2,356. I originally gave them the deposit which was required on July 18, 2023 to fix my roof. They could not get a building permit from the Town of Dryden and mentioned sub-contracting it. No where’s in their agreement they mentioned sub-contracting and I won’t have that and not sure it’s allowed in the trailer park I’m in. I’ve called 2 times to inform them I want my deposit back. I haven’t heard anything from either Jesse ******** nor Brandi (the owner). It’s been 2 weeks since I placed the first call. I have health issues, low on income now and will be burying my Aunt I helped take care of tomorrow who was like a mother to me.

      ********, First, we are terribly sorry to hear of your aunts passing and send our condolences, as well as your extra income.  When you called Monday, September 25th, 2023, I told you that the owner, ***** ******, was out of town on training and I (Brandy) did not have the authority to make that decision. I then told you I would speak to her as soon as she was back from training. Please note however the agreement that YOU signed July 18th, 2023. I have attached and highlighted your commitment to honor that agreement. Given your circumstances of your new financial situation I am confident the owner will work with you on this. A large deciding factor will be if the materials have been ordered.  Mrs. ****** will return Monday October 2, 2023.  Thank you for understanding, and again my condolences.   Brandy  General Manager

      Call the roofing company because my windows were leaking on my roof. I signed a contract and gave $3000 cash deposit found out my windows do not need to be replaced when I had my uncle go up and check them out. They brought shingles and drop them off to do a partial of the roof, which were not of equal value of what they were tearing off, which did not need to be tore off because my windows didn’t need to be replaced. They only needed to be sealed. The woman called from the office and told me it would be $350 more for equal value of what my shingles are on my roof and I told her I would not pay anymore. She said I could cancel I canceled. I asked her to send me my check for $3000 And then a week later I called back again and the office woman told me the check was sent out for $3000 I waited. I called back again and I was told I would have to wait 30 days before they could re-issue. Another check. I have waited 30 days Now they said they haven’t sent out a check. I am being lied to, and I would somehow like to resolve this and get my money back and the man who sold me the job started calling me and telling me that I can’t get my money back and at this point, I don’t know where to turn , I am asking for help they did not do any work the three or four square of shingles that they dropped off they took back they were very thin and what was on my roof was thick and I don’t need my roof tore apart. My windows are fine they just needed to be resealed , and they sold me something I didn’t need and I’m glad I caught it before they tore it all apart, and I had no windows

      ******* ****** signed an agreement with Lakeside Kanga Roof on March 29, 2023. Our customers have 3 business days to surrender the agreement, after this time frame if the agreement has not been surrendered, we move forward with ordering materials, initiate the paperwork needed, permits, etc.  On April 4th, the project manager had placed the order for her "special order" bent aluminum fascia, and On April 19th we placed the order for her shingles. On May 9th, four of our installers showed up to fulfill her agreement. She stated she was not happy with the shingles we ordered and wanted a different kind. She insisted she go pick them out herself and we obliged. On May 10th ***** ****** called and canceled her project insisting on her deposit back.  Furthermore, our Roofing specialist, Eugene M*****, has around 8 hours (un-clocked hours) working with her insurance company and adjuster and was able to get her approved for $18,000.00 entire roof replacement, it was at this time she canceled. Insurance fraud if you ask me.  Please see all of the attached documents stating Lakeside Kanag Roof reserves the right to determine if a deposit has warranted a refund, half, or no refund. I have also attached the job cost to date $3,228.82 for the labor of the installers and the materials purchased PRIOR to her cancelling. Her deposit was $3000.00 which DOES NOT cover the cost that Lakeside has already incurred.  Thank you

      As shown in the photo (behind only 2 of several documents) *** provided, she had even gotten the permit. The agreement stands as we had installers at her house prior to cancelling as well as ordered all materials for her project.  She now owes us $228.00.

He needs to be more Pacific to what he will be doing I am only asking for the facia all the way around and that’s not showing that that’s what he’ll do for the 2808.00. When are you placing the facia making sure that all of my soffit is secure
