During the pandemic I joined this gym And it was going good but after three months I hurt my knee at home and asked for a hardship cancel on my membership. Rachel said no and that I will have to pay in full. Then that month the gym required a Covid vaccine to attend and I am not vaccinated. I called again and asked Rachel to cancel my membership she said no.This collection is on my credit report and it needs to come off. This collection is doing me harm.Business response

Hi ****,Here is ***** ********s agreement and invoices that were paid.If we would have received a note from her Dr we would have frozen her membership until she could return. During the vaccine requirement we would have frozen her membership during that time as well.***** is currently in collections. We would need a note from her doctor and payments from the time she enrolled until the time of her injury and then we could take her out of collections and cancel the membership.Thank you,TomCustomer response

Better Business Bureau: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. You do not need to see a doctors note for me not being vaccinated. As for my injury you don’t need that either. This collection needs to come off of my credit report because it hurt it very badly and your company knows that. I am a singleMom and at one point I could not afford to pay the membership let alone show up because schools kept closing and elevate required a vaccination to attend and I told Rachel that and she still insisted I needed to pay and that she can’t cancel my account. What you are doing is criminal and I won’t stand for it. Just do what’s right and take it off because your can get more money from somewhere else. And If not. We can settle this for $20 because that’s all I have. All this for $450? Regards, ***** ********
