My car stalled and every light went on..awd, engine output low, traction control off, visit your dealer!! That was a new one for me. Towed it to my mechanic and he put it on the machine and told me it was more than likely the fuel pump and there was a “customer support” program that warned people with 2018 Highlanders with Denso fuel pumps that this problem would happen. Was able to get it to Basil and immediately the service advisor wrote down $205 for a “diagnostic” charge. Later I rec’d a lame video telling me it was spark plugs and it was $850 to repair!!! Called my mechanic and he said bring it back and I’ll do that but he doubted that was the problem. Towed it to my mechanic and he put spark plugs in only to find out IT WASNT THE PROBLEM AND MY LIGHTS WENT ON AGAIN THE SAME THING WAS HAPPENING. Now I have to get it back to Basil because after putting a bad review on Google the Service manager called and said if I took the review down they would order the part and fix the recall. REALLY?? Now how to get the vehicle back to them because it’s not running!!!!! ??????

After an unscrupulous mechanic said I needed brakes/rotors, a check engine light came on. Going back to the same mechanic was a huge mistake. My insurance agents mechanic agreed to run a pre-scan vehicle system report aka diagnostic trouble code’s. My ****** ***** then went to Basil Toyota for service. I gave the vehicle system report to the Basil service advisor. I had 6 trouble systems w/codes and 22 systems without codes, it would make matters easier. The six trouble codes are: B2312: Master Switch of driver’s side door. U0142: Lost communication with body control Module B. U0155: Lost communication with instrument panel cluster (IPC) control module. C2123: Transmitter ID3 not received (Main). C2175: vehicle speed or RSSI Signal Error. Systems w/o codes: Engine, transmission, HV ECU, ABS, airbag, cruise control, door motor modules driver current codes, door motor modules door motor passenger, door motor modules rear left, door motor modules rear right, heating and air conditioning, master switch module, smart key access current codes, power source, instrument panel cluster, navigation system, PM1 gateway, electric motor power steering, plug-in control, occupant classification, OBDII codes ($03), OBDII permanent codes ($0A). Readiness monitors: Misfire, fuel system, comprehensive component, EGR/VVT, catalyst, evaporative system, oxygen sensor, oxygen sensor heater. A mechanic that sees these trouble codes would automatically know it’s a very serious issue and would immediately notify me & advise I not drive the vehicle. Instead, I am handed a bill for $189. I am owed a refund.

My husband and I purchased a used car from Basil Toyota about a month ago. During the test drive we notice the muffler was a little louder than normal so we mentioned before the sale and they said no there is no muffler sound despite what we knew we heard. The night we took it off the lot there was and issue with the amp system in our radio. We took it back the next day and they said they didn’t have the part to fix and it would take weeks to come in. We aren’t from the area and were leaving two days later. When I was finally able to get the amp fixed at another dealership closer to home that dealership did and assessment of the car and found $2,600 worth of repairs. When we called them to inform them about this they told us there was nothing they could do. This was after days of phone tag because the general manager “doesn’t have enough time to call us back” is basically what we were told and when someone did finally get into contact with us it was our sales rep. The GM made him the middle man and tried to offer us $500 when the amount of repairs were $2,600. We are still waiting on a response from the GM.
