This company contacted me about a debt that I owed. I set up a payment plan with them and completed paying for the debt in full now 2 years later I received a call from an attorney that I was being sued over this exact debt that I already paid in full and due to penalties and lawyer fees the debt almost tripled. This company took my money and did not report to the creditor that it was paid in full.Initial Complaint

Many years ago I took a payday cash loan by western sky in Nevada. I started to make the payments and then stopped making the payments. I was contacted by this place called ******** *******. I was threatened to be taking to court and was threatened to be served. So I got scared. They had all the loan information. I did not have any paperwork from the loan only remember the estimated amount and dates so I assumed this was legit. Which was my mistake. I agreed to paying a certain amount every month until this astronomical number was paid off that included this places fees. I started paying $58 each month for almost two years. I had gotten a new credit card so I went to call them to update the card and all the phone numbers they gave me originally were out of service. Even the number on my billing statement which was Apex billing that phone number was out of service too. So I started doing some research on here and on other sites to come to find out they are a scam. That western sky was taking to court by almost everyday and were illegal and the business closed down in 2013. So I stopped all payments because my card changed but now also contacted my credit card company to stop payments and to investigate it. They haven't contacted me about anything but other than stopping payments. They have been harassing me threatening to serve me at my work. They have been calling my entire family almost non stop, including my brother in law who is out in California. They are harassing me and my family so much it's really getting out of control. They got over $1,000 out of me which was more than the amount I even borrowed and from what I read apex billing isn't even supposed to be collecting money from people. I NEED THE CALLS TO STOP. I understand I probably won't get my money back but the threatening non stop calls need to stop to me and my family.Initial Complaint

I’ve been laying these people 65 dollars every month for the last year!! They contacted me awhile ago about a past debt that I did actually have. Everything seemed legit and they wanted to work with me to get the past due paid. I’ve been trying to reach them for a long time to get balance i go etc. From my research you can not get ahold of anyone here. None of these numbers work etc. I’ve made a claim with my bank on all the charges! We are talking close to $900 dollars of throwing away money! Extremely pissed off. Anyone that can help with my next steps please let me know!Initial Complaint

WELL FIRST OF ALL THEY ARE RUDE AND CALL MY RELITIVES THREATNING THEM ABOUT ME . THEY NEVER TRIED FIRST WITH ME , I DONT KNOW HOW THEY GOT MY X SISTER N LAW INFO. THEN I TALKED TO THEM AND THEY EVEN TOLD ME THE CREDIT ON THE CREDIT CARD WAS 300 AND NOW THEY ARE CHARGING ME ALMOST 800.00. I WANT TO FILE BANKRUPTCY AND THEY SAID I COULDNT AND THEY HAVE PAPERS TO TAKE ME TO COURT AND THEY CALLED MY X SISTER N LAW AGAIN . SO THEY HAVE MY NUMBER THEY HAVE TO LEAVE OTHERS ALONE AND CALL ME . I AM FILLING BANKRUPTCY .Initial Complaint

My dad called early October saying a person left a nasty threatening voicemail for me on his phone. From nation dispute resolution, So I call and the lady named Abbey W***** answers and says that I owe from *** **** *******(which I do) and that I need to settle this payment. I had a payment arrangement set up with them in 2020/2021 but due to COVID hitting and unfortunate circumstances. I stopped paying and they said they will send my account into court(which they never did) as stated above fast forward to 2022 of October. I see up another payment arrangement. Only to find out that they do not own my account. I contacted *** **** ******* themselves and they pointed me into the direction of the company that does and I contacted abbey W***** today, and she says in fact they do. But I actuality I think I’m being scammed. Please get back to me apex billing and stop all payments. And refund me for the payments made in 2020/2021Initial Complaint

Received threatening call October 2021 that I would be taken to court if I didn't set up a payment plan for an old **** ** ******* account. Scared, I entered into payment plan. Stupid me, I should have done more research! One year later almost to the day, I get another similar threatening call from another company about a **** ** ******* account - account number just one number different! This lead me to do more research. **** ** ******* cannot verify either account. I have been scammed by Apex for a year. They cannot mail me anything in writing which is illegal. Threatening legal action on initial call is illegal. They cannot provide proof that they are working on behalf of **** ** *******. I have contacted my bank about this fraud. I am also requesting that ALL my payments be refunded to me immediately.Initial Complaint

I have been paying this company Apex billing services for a bill that no one could completely explain to me..I aggred to a monthly amount. I had a number to a lady that said she was with National dispute resolutions. I've since tried calling her number *** *** **** Melanie and number doesn't work. Tried calling the Apex number *** *** **** and it's always goes to a busy signal. I have read some of the complaints from others and need some help getting this resolved.Initial Complaint

Case#******* On 4/21/21, my wife rec'd. phone call from a independent processor saying he had court papers to deliver to me to sign regarding an outstanding loan from ********** ****** and if I didn't sign I would be taken to court to resolve.. or I could call ******** *********** to talk to an agent.. I got scared and intimidated by call. I called and talked with Ashley P***** from ******** ***********.. she set pay. of 78.63 monthly through Apex billing .. I asked for letter of notice of debt, she said they were a Green Company, and they didn't deal with paperwork.. So far, I have paid $864. I have been calling the agency for a month, and all I get are voice-mail from James C****. Since I started with this ********* ********** agency, I have talked with Ashley P*****, Elizabeth M*****, Jacob G******, and recently James C****. I have called 6 different phone # ###-###-####-******** *********** ###-###-####- National Resolution ###-###-####-******** ********** ###-###-####- ******** ********** ###-###-####- Apex billing ###-###-####-Apex billing All these phone # have voice-mails from James C****.. which made me suspicious.. why is James C****'s voice-mail with the Apex billing phone number .. I think these companies may be fraudulent or scams.. I don't know if I should call my credit card company to stop receiving charges from Apex..Initial Complaint

As of August 2021,contacted from a company named ******** ******* ***********,Threatening court order with fees and attorney fees if no collection payment agreement was made immediately.$600.00 paid monthly of $134.00 to resolve a ********** account from 12/30/01 thru 6/15/2015.The rep stated that they only sent out email statements and conformations.I sent payments from Oct 1,2021 thru Feb 1,2022.Tried contacting company serveral times,only a busy signal would come through each day.The number used ###-###-#### or ###-###-####.Apex Billing Services in Lockport,New York were retrieving payments from my account.******** ******* *********** stated they were handling collections from **** Bank for $4,826.32.I said I did not remember the account not being handled.These companies need to be shut down for using citizens for their own selfish gain.Thank you for your support and concerns.
