5/19/22 Vehicle retail Approximately $27,500 Promise of a vehicle with NO issues The nature of the dispute is that I was promised a certified pre owned vehicle with no known issues, however the car needs a new headlight assembly. And when I told the guy that sold me the car what was going on he said it was a known issue that they didn't care to fix. I called them hoping they would resolve the issue however they said they were not willing to fix the vehicle.

******************** is absolutely right. We (Showroom Auto) bought the 2018 *** 330xi GT from Manheim Auto Auction with the inner passenger halo glowing an ***** yellow ***** instead of the bright white it's suppose to be. The vehicle was checked and serviced by ******************** and ******************* whom specialized in *** repairs and it was determined by both entities that, that inner halo can't be fixed the only solution is to replace the whole headlight assembly. the headlight low beam, high beam and outer halo works exactly the way they were intended to work and there is nothing wrong with those components but as ******************** said the Inner halo does glow an ***** ****** Also all the halos are suppose to dim when the headlight is turned on and brighten when the headlights are turned off, that is normal operation. In reference to the ***** ***** halo this is how we advertised the vehicle and this is how we sold the vehicle, that was a factor in the extremely low price you received for this vehicle, *** Power has a current retail value of $34,450 for this vehicle and you paid less than $30,000. Nevertheless, I agree with ******************** and I think he is right in his frustration and his disappointment  a $34,450 *** should not have this issue, I think ************************ anger and disappointment is aimed at the wrong party we (Showroom Auto) sell used vehicles, we do not sell new vehicles although we go above an beyond to make sure that our vehicles are in the best possible conditions, I particularly am on record on many of my videos stating that we cannot make used cars new again. I like ******************** so I will help him on a unified front and contact *** of ******* and help him get this issue resolved. We should concentrate our efforts in working with *** of ******* toward the resolution of this matter.

      Thanks

On August 10,2021, l, ************************************* financed a ******** **** GLE350 4matic from Showroom Auto, the dealers name is ***** *******. The purchase price of the vehicle is $28,786.00. I payed $15,000 down payment. I just realized in the loan with ******************* Services the loan Im paying for is $21,865.00. I am being overcharge $8,079. I called ****************** and was told that is what the dealer put in the application. I would like for the BBB to resolve this dispute.

********************** came and purchased a car from Showroom Auto, we bent over backwards to help ********************** even allowing her and her boyfriend to owe us $9000 dollars of her deposit which he paid a week later.  ********************** and her boyfriend reviewed and she signed all the documents that I've attached. ********************** signed all the documents and were given a copy of everything she signed and had a week more to review the documents before returning to give us the remaining $9000 which she owed us.  furthermore, 2 weeks after taking possession of the vehicle ********************** and her boyfriend returned to the dealer because they had a problem with the vehicle, we weren't able to fix the vehicle as fast as I would of like to fix the vehicle so we made an appointment for ********************** at a ******** dealer next to her house they fixed the car for $1,304.55, she paid and we promptly sent her a check reimbursing her for the repairs. as I said inittially we bent over backwards to help **********************.  It's simple she paid $34,033 for the vehicle which includes a certified warranty for 10 years or ******* miles so for 10 years if something goes wrong with the covered components of her vehicle, she can go to any ******** dealer and the vehicle will be fixed free of charge so plus taxes of $2,382 and $450 for plates and registration the total price was $36,865.00  her boyfriend gave us $15,000 and the balance financed was $21, 865 at ***** % due to poor credit.  Everything was explained to ********************** she signed and received a copy of everything that she signed.   This complaint is the first we are hearing that ********************** had any issues with us but we welcome her back to the dealer so we can go over the whole transaction with her all over again if she needs more clarification and we'll even wash the car while she is here. She can come anytime and we'll explain it all again.

      Thank you

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

Most of what ***** ******* stated has been an embellishment and exaggeration of the truth.

*** ******* started with responding with we bent over backwards to help **********************. This is a misleading comment. I went into Showroom room auto to purchase a la advertised vehicle with $15,000 to offer for a down payment, more than half of the cost of the vehicle. I did not walk in asking nor looking for anything other than what they sell.

I went into Showroom Auto with my domestic partner and 2 other times with my twins which *** ******* also met. When my partner and I initially went to Showroom Auto, *** ******* showed us the vehicle we came to see. I then offered $15,000 down payment. I told *** ******* I have $7,000 for a deposit on the down payment and I can return the next day with rest. My partner and I arrived to Showroom Auto in our current vehicle at the time and had no plans to drive out the dealership with the new vehicle. *** ******* made it clear if I decided to purchase the vehicle I would have to take the vehicle that same day. *** ******* gave me a promissory letter to return the following day with the rest of the down payment. When I arrived the next day Showroom Auto was closed. *** ******* told my that following day he was inside the establishment however I did not see him the 3 hours I was parked in front of Showroom Auto waiting for a flatbed truck to transport my formal vehicle back to my home in **********. The day after transporting my formal vehicle via a flatbed truck, which was days after giving *** ******* the deposit for the down payment. My partner, twins and I returned to Showroom Auto with the rest of the down payment. I would like *** ******* provide evidence I paid the remaining balance of the down payment a week later.

In less than a week of financing the vehicle from Showroom Auto I sent *** ******* an email stating the vehicle has days displaying a malfunction message on the dashboard. *** ******* sold me a vehicle with a defected airbag. I stayed a month without a vehicle awaiting the completion of its repair. *** ******* sent it to be repaired at a place not specialized to repair ******** **** they were unable to repair it. He then had me take the vehicle to an authorized ******** **** service center. I responded to the issue of the repair to bring clarity. Unfortunately *** ******* is deflecting the focus on the repair of a defected vehicle. Which is not my complaint.

My complaint is about going into Showroom Auto to purchase an advertised 2016 ******** **** GLE 350 4matic  for the price of $26,791. In reviewing my loan papers to refinance I realized the loan was taken out for $21,865 and Im being overcharged.

I have attached as much evidence the system would allow me to.

have been completely honest and transparent with my complaint to establish credibility. So this matter can be reviewed and with hopes of a resolution.

      Thank you,

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

In part to my complain that Showroom Auto enter a higher amount on the loan application than the agreed upon sales price is another evidence I am submitting. I am submitting a receipt from the ************************ of the registration, taxes and title fees for the sum of $1931.40. In which coincidences with the sales price I agreed upon of $28,766.

      Thus far I have provided:
-The sales ad from ******** advertised for $26,791
-SecureNet *************** Comtract with sale price  of $28,786
-***** Warranty stating the sales price of $28,786
-Motor Vehicle receipt which shows taxes and fees for the sum of $1931.40

I was overcharged and deceived out of $8,079 plus the interest of *****% I am monthly paying for. Hopefully with all the evidence Showroom Auto can see the error in their part and this matter can be resolved.

********************** you are paying *****% because you have extremely poor credit because you have not paid a lot of people. Your interest rate came from the Lender who fortunately chose to give you an opportunity when so many other lenders said NO to you. No-one deceive you!! you knew exactly what you were buying and how much because you wanted to drive a ********** ******* a ******** comes at a price and that was the price for our ******** plus tax, plus registration and finance charges from the lender. That's what it takes to drive a ********.

Thank you and take care of yourself and May *** bless you!!
