I had a growth on my leg and, not being near home, didn't have a dermatologist. I went online and found an appointment with *************** in ********* **. She was fantastic. She removed the growth and sent it for a biopsy. The result came back showing that I needed additional treatment. That's where my problems with Schweiger began...I couldn't get the biopsy results sent to my home doctor. I filled out the release forms and did whatever else I was supposed to do, to no avail. This company is too corporate with too many layers to go through to get anything done or any answers. NEVER AGAIN!Review from Sergey S

Got from Schweiger antibiotic prescription for our son with ambiguous directions. Called their office twice, leaving messages with the reception, asking for urgent clarification - nobody bothered to reply. Had to call again asking for supervisor, whom we didn't get either. Finally, after 2 days and 3 calls, some physician assistant - who had never seen the patient - answered our question.Review from Melissa J

Schweiger Dermatology has abhorrent, unprofessional and irresponsible business practices. I had shingles, which is contagious, and I never was told - I was told I had something different. I still have yet to hear from a doctor there, and it's been almost two weeks. It's impossible to talk to anyone, there are no supervisors. Also the office manager (who is not a doctor) tried to give me medical advice. I would not recommend this business to anyone.Review from Karla P

Went to the ******************* and saw Dipsli *****, a PA. I showed her some bumps on my hand and she called in a script for a medication Im allergic to! It was listed on the forms I had filled out and I had also given them a paper with my medical info. I declined the med. at the pharmacy and called the office. I left messages for 5 days and got no help. They finally texted me and told me to come in and buy a product they sell for $63.98 which was online for under $10. I called again to speak to the office manager and they said he was in a meeting and would call me back when it was over. I didnt hear from him for 5 days. When he called, I said it mustve been a long meeting and he said he had just gotten the message. I asked for the number of corporate and was given the number of a call center believed was the corporate office. I gave him all my medical info and he told me to call the *******************. I asked if he was HIPPA compliant and he didnt know was that was. Multiple calls to the main office were not returned. Worst experience Ive ever had at a doctors office and Im 76!Review from Omar A

I have been a regular patient of ************ (about one visit every 2 weeks for close to a year) with my last visit being today. Reason being, this office has two restrooms. One says Men, the other says Men/Women/Employees. The Mens room was locked, so I quickly use the other which was unlocked. As I leave the bathroom, the receptionist ****** (first time seeing him here) is standing outside the restroom, reprimanding me (in front of other patients in the waiting room) in a loud and disrespectful tone for using the restroom that says "employees only". I respond that it does also say Men, and being that I identify as man, it would be no problem for me to use it. No response from ****** just muttering under his breath. I've worked in healthcare for 14 years and never have I never talked to a patient of mine this way. Completely disgraceful and discriminatory. If you want an employees only restroom how about just posting a sign that says ONLY employees only, and not Men/Women/Employees. ***************** office.Review from Sha M

Horrible! Labor department needs to be called on this office and ******** fraud department! They bill for things that were never done and dont do anything to help with your issues. New staff all the time. The management needs to be fired and hire all new management, someone with common sense! These people bill for days and procedures never done. Shut this place down!!!!Review from Andrea M

Since August 2022, they have been incorrectly submitting my secondary insurance claim under my deceased husbands DOB and every month after receiving a bill from them called them to review MY information. The bill I was receiving was for $41.83; not a huge amount of money but it was the principle of them needing to do their job correctly and bill correctly. I finally went into their office in October 2023 in *** and had the office manager open my account and update my account correctly. I was notified by my secondary insurance that they paid them $38.34 on December 13th 2023. BUT ON JANUARY 12TH 2024 I WAS NOTIFIED BY A COLLECTION AGENGY THAT SCHWEIGER CLOSED MY ACCOUNT AND I NOW NEEDED TO PAY THEM. I immediately disputed the bill with the debt collector and once again called the *************** Services. People who apologized each and every time but could not resolve the issue; told it needed to always to upper management. Always asked for a call back from "upper management" and NEVER received a call back. When I called on February 15th 2024 told I was pulled back from collections but still owed them $41.83 not the difference of $$3.49. Today, February 28th, I was told I needed to submit an "updated EOB" as my secondary insurance may have changed the money they received. Not true! AVOID THEIR BILLING DEPARTMENT AT ALL COSTS AND TIME TO LOOK FOR A NEW DERMATOLOGIST. I would give ZERO STARS if I could.Review from DT T

Absolutely bad business practice! I have to wait for 1:30 hrs after checking in for Dr. *************************** appointment. He literally spent less than 5 mins for skin care concerns. They seems to have more PAs act like doc but charge you specialist doc visit. Something is terribly wrong with their business practise! Just be aware!Review from Joel G

Do not use Schweiger Dermatology, they are a bunch of crooks, they'll charge you for everything but bathroom use. I booked an appt. and was told they accepted my insurance, but they didn;t bother to tell me it's out of network and ended up paying a large balance, also they are impossible to get on the phone unless you're booking an appointment or paying a bill. I called them shortly after surgery with a question I had about the healing process and it took them almost 2 weeks to get back to me. They're nothing but a dermatology mill.Schweiger Dermatology Group, LLC Response
