On my pick up date, 4/5/24, after I drove out sprinter, car has a lot noise. I came back after drive 1 mile. And left car there for checking. They said if I want return the car, I need to pay for about 20k-30k discount. So I left car there for fixing. The second day, the sale person called me said they will recall my car because some parts missing. But the following day she called me again said nothing missing, just readjust brake cable. Now good to go.After fixed the car, 4/11 I picked up the car on 4/12/24 night, smell burned, has smoke come out one time. I called the sale person report this to her, she said wait for one day to see the smoke keep come out or not. I wait for one day, but not see the smoke so I didn't go to repair. However, 4/19/24 night cars engine light on. I scheduled Monday 4/22/24 to bring car in for repair. I picked 4/24/24, they said one s**** loose, and one sealer open, they replaced one. And in the report said they changed 5 wires as well. So the car has more problems than what they told me. However, 4/25/24 the light is on again. I bring car in 4/26/24 for repair. I picked up car 4/30/24. They said another s**** loose. I really dont know how many screws in the car! I really dont know one s**** loose or missing or the sealer open can cause how many problems for the future. The reason why I purchase the brand-new car is I dont want keep repair it, I dont want take risk for the future breakdown. Now I paid brand new cars money, get broken car. That is unfair for me. On the day I picked up, the service adviser let me signed 2 documents in order to pick up. She said one is for pick up, another is for dropped off the car. In that time I trusted her and just signed. They lay one document on others. Just left place for me to sign. After I went home, I think something wrong. I try called her text her many time to get copy of what i signed. She sent me copy without my signature. Ask me wait for few days. Now what I get is not what she said.Initial Complaint

I HAVE BEEN HAVING PROBLEMS WITH SILVER STAR ******** LOCATED IN QUEENS ** FOR THE PAST 6 MONTHS, about 5-6 weeks ago I had a problem with my sprinter engine, my car has been at the shop for way over due time, Not only have I not been getting updates regarding the vehicle, ******** is unable to provide me with a date for my fixed vehicle. There have now been 49 issues with my vehicle. Last year the transmission on my sprinter stopped working and MBUSA was unable to give me a date for the fixed sprinter. It has been constant problem after problem. Silver star motors is very unprofessional with the exception of three associates ( ********************************** A big thanks to those three. Every time I have gone to ******** regarding my vehicle all the other managers have been unprofessional and always laugh in my face. Not only does their mechanical team not do anything , they are backed up on many cars in the shop that have not been touched. MBUSA doesnt provide any customer support. I have been with MBUSA for over 15 years now, and I am not satisfied with them at all. I currently have an open case with MB USA and when I called the manager for this case (*******) she said 6-8 weeks for ***** to come to a decision regarding my vehicle. I go to Silver Star everyday to get updates on my vehicle and each time I go they are experimenting on my vehicle. I dont have any other options then to continue with a lawsuit regarding MB USA and inform all media. - SilverStar ******** ********************************************************************Initial Complaint

I purchased a 2019 ******** **** C 300 from Silver Star Motors. The Sales person, *********************, would not release my vehicle after I had fully purchased the car and owned it. He told me that the dealer had to register the vehicle in MA for me before I could have it transported to MA. This was not true. Also, ****** told there was NO damange to the vehicle. When it arrived almost 2 weeks after purchase the back seat (drivers side) left panel has significant damage.Initial Complaint

I purchased a car from a ******** **** dealership Silver Star Motors in Queens, ** on February 7th.Upon purchasing the car, I spoke with the Sales person regarding registering the car in ********** as that is where I was currently residing. The sales person knew that I had a new ** license and no intentions on switching my license over to ** if that was needed to register the car. I paid the dealership fee's, I put down $5,000 and the car was sold to me. I was issued a temporary transfer of state plate and was told I would receive the actual plates within thirty days. I contacted the dealership sales rep weekly beginning the month of March after 30 days had passed. The temporary transfer of state plate had expired. I asked for a new one to be issued and I was told a new one could not be issued but that the dealership was still waiting for my plates and registration to arrive. Here it is now April 18th and I still have not received any updated information. I contacted **'s *** and was told that there is no paperwork of registration or titles processed pertaining to my car's VIN number. I was told by the ** *** that the dealership can issue me an extension on the temporary transfer of state plates. The *** has denied me of this. The dealership will not return any of my calls or text messages. I have shown up to the dealership requesting to speak with the general manager, or a supervisor and I am told a message will be left with the requested individuals, however I never receive a call or email back. I am almost 9 months pregnant and have been experiencing this hardship with no support from a high end luxury car dealership that I assumed was well trusted. The dealership will not register my car although services have been paid for. The dealership has left me to figure out what to do on my own and is not responsive. The dealership has not applied for or issued by finance bank with a title so I am unable to register the car on my own.Initial Complaint

I initiated a request for two warranty refunds one week after I purchased a vehicle from Silver Star Motors at Long Island City, NY on April 7, 2021. The process took a couple of months till June and they sent me a copy for one of two amounts. The total amount is around $10,000. They ignored telling me the exact amount to be refunded. I was told the funds would go back to Mercedes Benz Financial in July. Month after month, week after week, the dealership's financial kept telling me the money was sent back but in reality it's still holding the money till this day going into October. I'm paying interest on this amount while they have it in their own account. Many, many emails and phone calls were just being thrown around and nothing is being done. I don't believe it's that difficult to to apply the money back to my loan as promised. I have to think about this everyday and it's extremely stressful!Customer response
