North Shore LIJ continues to **** me $19.42 for something that they easily could get from United healthcare if they billed under the correct code. It was confirmed with United healthcare multiple times that they will pay this once they are billed correctly. North Shore refuses to correct or resubmit their ****. This is a **** for part of a wellness visit and therefore, unless the office screwed up, everything under a wellness visit is paid at 100%. Theyve also ignored my questions about why if its not a preventative service I wasnt informed so I could choose whether I wanted it done or not. Theyve now sent this $19.42 it to a collection agency, ************************** LLC, which is even more absurd since I owe nothing. This is NOT the first time Ive had a billing issue with Northwell. They **** incorrectly (fraudulently perhaps?) ALL THE **** and something needs to be done about it. I am tired of wasting my time fighting with them when they shouldve fixed this problem over a year ago.Business response
