I placed an online order with the Borland House Inn House and Restaurant on October 25, 2022 for some gift items. The subtotal was $25.98 and the shipping charge was $10.00, the sum total being $35.98. The first time I contacted the vendor via e-mail to inquire about the status of the order was Nov 18, 2022. I received no reply. I inquired again via e-mail on Nov 29, 2022. Again, I received no reply. By now the charge had been posted to my credit card but my shipment was never received. I again e-mailed on Dec 20, 2022, asking about the status and for a refund if the order was not going to be fulfilled, and again, received no reply. I tried again on Jan 24, 2023, both via e-mail and via the telephone number provided on the order confirmation, again asking for a refund. Again, I heard nothing. Seeing as this order will never be fulfilled, I do hereby request a refund of $35.98 to my credit card.Business response

We did send out the order. It not being received is strange but we are happy to refund the customer. I had not heard that this order wasnt received by the customer.

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.The business claims they never heard from the order was never received, but as you see from the string of e-mails attached, I did e-mail four times and left a voice message on their telephone.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:I am just writing to let you know I have checked my credit card statement ending 3/15/2023 and, as of today, I still have not received the requested refund of $35.98.
