I have been trying for months to get in touch with the billing department (phone # on web-site ************). I have been charged over $650.00 for office visits several I never requested. When the billing statement is mailed to me its say's Billed Amount / Allowed Amount / You Owe $. WITH NOT EXPLANATIONS ON WHAT I'M BEING CHARGED FOR. I think the staff is great and they provide a great service, however there is a major dis-connect from the doctors office to the billing department. When you speak with the staff they tell you that they have zero information on the billing process.Initial Complaint

I had a Bone Density from caremount on 12/18/20 that originated as preventative. Ultimately there was a diagnosis for low bone density. As I was told by my insurance, Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield, there should be no member cost sharing because procedure was originally ordered as preventative. The billing codes used by Caremount for this Encounter # ******** were incorrect and have resulted in a patient balance of $444.71. Myself and BCBS have repeatedly tried to work with Caremount to get the billing codes fixed with appropriate modifiers and have hit a brick wall.Customer response
