I sent my collection of a mix of gold , silver and platinum American coins to Bridgeview Equitiesin ********* , ** after they contacted me in order to evaluate the coins, which were all high grade coins all graded by PCGS or NGC , well recognized coin grading services . After the companys appraisers had evaluated my coins, they indicated a value of $40,000 to$45,000 . In return the company, not at my specific authorization, sent me a 36 coin collection of American silver eagles dating from **** through 2022 graded by NGC as proof 70 ultra cameo and all signed by ******************* , a well respected coin designer at the American Mint , and whose authenticated signature supposedly increases the value of the coins significantly . The company advised me that they had a number of clients who collected these particular American eagles and to give them a couple of months to do their research and they would be able to get me a very decent price for the ********************* the order of $50,000 plus . In the meantime the company has kept my collection . Over the past 3 weeks I have repeatedly attempted to contact Bridgeview Equities , by phone,fax, and in writing . Every time I call including all of the possible phone extensions, and the main operator , they all say to leave a message , but every time their mailboxes are full so one cannot leave a message or contact anyone at that company. I received no response to fax or my written request . I have contacted several coin dealers and other sources , and am advised that the collection of American eagles I received are worth about $6000 . I am wondering if you have any information on this company, and what you can recommend I can do regarding this outrageous price gouging and even fraudulent activity . Also perhaps some way one is able to contact a live person at Bridgeview .Thank you .
