This person has frozen my bank assets 3 days before Christmas. They have not contacted at any time before doing so. They have not sent me any paperwork confirming I am the person they say I am before clearing out my entire bank account, which consists only of Covid stuimulus payment, public assistance and financial aid. This is illegal at worst, and an abusive/unfair legal practice at best. I have no knowledge of the debt they claim I owe. I originally thought it was for something else, so I agreed, but on further looking into my records, I paid the person I thought this debt was for over a decade ago. Again, I have no knowledge of this debt and clearly the laywer did not do due dilligence in verifying I am the owner of this debt before filing a garnishment restraining order which cleared out my entire bank account, 3 DAYS BEFORE CHRISTMAS WITH ZERO PRIOR CONTACT.

HK Recovery was retained by ******************************* regarding a debt owed to him by his former landlord ***************.
******************************* sued ************** in the Civil Court of ********************, Small Claims Court Index # ***********
On September 6, 2012, the court entered judgment against *************** in amount of $2,230.00 for the debt owed to ******************.
As per of our efforts to collect on the above judgment our firm retained the services of an attorney who placed a restraining order upon the debtors bank account for the unpaid judgment.
On 12/23/2021 *************** offered $2,000.00 the resolve the matter however called back later that day and reneged on the settlement offer.
The debtor made a claim of exemption for the funds being held by her bank and the account was released by the bank on 1/11/2022.
Neither us nor our attorney has any further contact with ***************.
To date ZERO has been collected on this matter.
The judgment remains valid and enforceable.
