I signed up for Telephone Science Corporation's nomorobo to protect me from spam calls on my cell phone in 2019 and thought the product had good reviews, And renewed it each year including in 2021 It never really worked well in blocking spam but it was as good as they come - I thought.Recently I've had a problem with a spam number calling me 10 or more times a day.And it was being blocked by nomorobo, but in fact nomorobo wasn't actually blocking the calls, it just said it was - when I wanted to ensure it was being blocked by nomorobo so I tried to add it to the phone again - I couldn't add it to the database as it said this number was already being blocked.I sent an email to nomorobo asking for help in this spam number that kept calling me, I got nothing back.A month later I tried to access my account on their website. Not only did it not allow me to reset my password since I forgot it, but it had a message that said I needed to contact their help support person.I contacted help support using their form - there isn't a phone number to call, only a support form to fill out.I got a one sentence response - what is the email address on my account. I answered with all the account information I used to sign up with the nomorobo service.The response from support was - we can't find you in our database - what is your landline phone provider and we'll help you install nomorobo on that line.What was that??? I never asked that, and they showed no interest in solving what was becoming a technical mystery and they really didn't care. The tech AJ never asked any other questions, and made assumptions that weren't even part of the problem. Incompetent tech support.Terrible support at Telephone Science company known as nomorobo.It actually might not really work.I had my opinion about what was happening, but because they didn't ask any questions in order to ascertain what was going on, it's clear nomorobo is a fair weather program - works when it does, and when it doesn't they don't know either.I canceled the account and removed it from my cell phone.
