On several occasions both my wife **** and I have requested a 1.copy of my treatment plan 2. together with the appropriate dental codes, 3. cost and breakdowns from my dental insurance plan, 4. ******************************* with the dates claimed to have completed work and 6. evidence of completion. It has been a very frustrating experience since you refused to give me or my wife this information. As of this date I have not received anything from his offic Due to the poor and unacceptable treatment received, inability to get a defined treatment plan, I decided to seek the advice and treatment of another more communicative and competent dentist. To my dismay, after a thorough exam, I am informed that it will be $30,000 to correct what has been done. I am in process and already advanced this amount. Accordingly, I am seeking a full refund for the work completed that had to be redone and will seek legal remedy of all my costs if within 30 days if not received.Customer response

October 30, 2021
I received your mail today.
Please be advised that this is the first communication I have ever received from your office regarding a **** payment. I have not heard from any ***************** so I really dont know what you are talking about in settling a matter with *****************.
If you have referred anything to a ***************** and it affects my impeccable Credit Rating be assured there will be additional legal consequences.
Apparently as you noted in this recent letter, you sent a letter purportedly containing an invoice addressed to *********************** which was returned by the Post
******.
Must I remind you that My name is ***********************, not *********************** and if your letter was returned, it seems your problem is with the ************ not *********************** who never received anything from your office.
Here are the facts:
Sometime early this year, I received a call from your office from your wife informing me of a Balance on my ****. I asked her to send me a computer generated **** along with details including dental codes and how much my insurance company paid under my plan with ***********. She became belligerent over the phone and indicated that your computer system is not set up to send dental codes or insurance information. This is disturbing information.
I never received the information I requested nor did I receive any other written information from your office regarding my account or treatment.
The information you recently sent still does not include the details from my insurance. I see you have now manually written in codes which most competent up to date dentists include as part of their printed ****.
While under treatment by you and the roving oral surgeon you ***** Nilly hire, who apparently is not part of your office, and who throughout my entire procedure, was discussing stock market tips with you, I questioned the treatment you were proposing including placing a permanently exposed post into the implant and somehow hooking it up to my dental plate. I indicated to you that I thought that this was completely disgusting and unacceptable to have an exposed post hanging from my upper gums to be attached to my existing Plate. In fact I found your self described Quick Fix to be a very shoddy and unprofessional way to proceed. Why would you offer me a Quick Fix anyway?
At no time did I ever say I was worried about cost. And at no time did you indicate that additional implants would be required. Had you offered that I would Have likely proceeded with that treatment. However it seems like you wanted to avoid informing me that all your shoddy prior work was deteriorating. All I wanted from you was a complete written treatment plan regarding the rest of my treatment which I was concerned with since it seems the work that you previously done on my mouth was seriously deteriorating as was noted by my dentist in ******* who sent you the x-rays. However when I questioned this with you you denied any kind of a serious problem and apparently wanted to go ahead with your Quick Fix placing a hook in my mouth to be attached to a dental plate.
Subsequently, I called your office many times again requested a complete treatment plan with dental codes and the amount my insurance company would cover since I was not satisfied with as you define in your letter a quick fix plan but instead again demanded a comprehensive plan.
Since I never received this Plan, I sought another dentist. Your office seems to have an aversion to providing dental codes and in fact most good dentists who all provide written treatment plans and dental codes as part of their written assessment while your office has to hand write in the dental codes and fails to provide information on how much is covered by insurance.
To my dismay I was informed by an extremely qualified dentist that it would cost $30,000 to undo the work you have done over the years, including removing the implant your roving dental surgeon installed. While I was taken aback by the cost of this treatment plan I nevertheless proceeded because I was not concerned with the cost but with the quality of the work that was done. I am currently under treatment and have paid the full amount to my dental provider.
It was never a matter of cost.
I might add that in addition to this $30,000 cost, I had previously had work done in ******* replacing all my bottom teeth with a fixed plate which cost another $14,000 so a total of $44,000 in additional work was needed because I chose to be under the care of Warren Marvin for all these years.
Added to that is that my wife has now gone to another dentist which will cost her additional $14,000.
We both of been going to your office faithfully for over 30 years and it is so distressing to learn that all this time this treatment we received did not preserve the teeth but it appears that judging from the amount of money expended recently for other dentist to work all over these years has been unprofessional and shoddy.
In view of your shoddy and unnecessary treatment I am demanding a full refund of the amounts expended as noted in your enclosed **** , all of which had to be corrected at an extreme cost to me. I will also be seeking advice of legal council for the $58,000 my wife and I expended to correct your shoddy and incompetent past treatment.
Lastly, I will add that the way you treat your patients And the way you keep your records is clearly a disservice and extremely unprofessional. Your Collection Agent wife is one of the rudest and unprofessional people I have ever dealt with in my life.
Sincerely
