I booked a room with this company to go to *********** to see my new grand child that was born. The room was over $100.00 a night, and the photos looked nice. After I booked, I started reading the reviews and the place seemed like a very nasty and dangerous place to stay. I contacted the hotel about my concerns and they informed me that they would refund my money. I just needed to contact oetswelcome and let them know. I spoke to ***** at Petswelcome on many occasions about this issue and he assured me that if the hotel was good with canceling, I would receive my refund. I told him that if it wasnt going to be refunded, I would go and take the trip, even though I did not want to stay in a hotel like this- rather than lose my money. He assured me that if the hotel was ok with it, I would receive a refund. The day I was scheduled to arrive, I got an text message stating that it was time for me to check in. I called the hotel and spoke to the front desk, and they assured me that they have not charged me for the room and it has been refunded on their end. I contacted ***** again, and he told me that it was fine and I should see my refund in 3-7 days. It has been 2 weeks and I did not get refunded and now, no one will respond to my texts, phone calls or emails.Customer response
