Did work on an insurance claim. Never submitted any receipts, jacked up the cost on items to collect more money from insurance company. Used pandemic as an excuse for late delivery. Shady company, poor communication. Did not even out subfloor before laying *** flooring, insisted it didnt need it. Not even 7 months later, the *** is lifting.Business response

We received an e-mail from the customer/insured on 11/29/22 which is the same day as the complaint. Our project manager, ***********************, called the insured and left a detailed voice mail hoping to arrange an appointment to inspect their concerns. We warranty all workmanship for up to five years and ***** stated that we would address these issues and when might they be available. We did not receive a reply until the insureds husband texted ***** on 12/29/22. ***** called back and scheduled an appointment for 1/5/23. At the meeting ***** agreed to address the problem which was a sagging vinyl plank floor in the basement main room. Our flooring tech was in regular contact with the customer and an agreed appointment was scheduled for 2/1/23 and work was completed on 4/13/23. The delays were due to the husband providing incorrect floor sample and customers availability. This original claim was due to a water leak caused by an unstable foundation. We were referred to the customer through their insurance carriers direct repair program. Our estimate was submitted to UPC Insurance using a contractor estimating system called Xactimate. The pricing is pre-determined, and the estimate was reviewed and approved by UPC based on photo documentation of the affected areas.
