      This was going to be my second year Ive worked with TaxDome. My subscription fee increased to $800. However, when I checked by bank account, I saw that I was charged double. They charged me for a contractor I use periodically and who had always been on a monthly subscription. TaxDome will change that monthly to an annual subscription and then charge you for the full year. Afterwards, they will tell you they dont do refunds. I checked all of my emails regarding upcoming subscriptions. Not once did it state how much I would be charged and they provided no clarity on why I would be charged. My subscription is fully canceled with no access to use a years worth of service. TaxDome is insisting on keeping all funds even though service was not provided. I literally have no access to my account.

      I purchased the TaxDome software based on promises made by the company - specifically integrations with other software and cloud storage of client data. I worked with several folks to get these issues to work over several months, but Taxdome was unable to get these integrations to work. The cost of the software is $800. When asked for a refund, TaxDome indicated that they could try to develop the integration to work, but I don't have the time for them to develop a new product. I simply wanted a refund. They said it was their policy to not refund money. I don't see how a company is allowed to charge a fee for a product/service that they promise will work and if it doesn't work, I (the consumer) am responsible for the payment.

      Hello there!

      TaxDome is a Software as a Service (SAAS) solution for accounting firms. 

      We offer clients a free two week trial to use the product (all features enabled) and determine whether it offers a good fit for their needs. We inform all clients that TaxDome subscription purchase is non-refundable; the client has full access to the product for the duration of the purchased subscription. We clearly describe this as well as how to cancel the subscription in our Terms of Service (*********************************************). 

      ********************** signed up for the TaxDome service on August 31, 2023. He contacted us several times about the particular functionality and received full and comprehensive replies. On November 21st he decided that the functionality did not suit his needs and requested a refund. We declined his request since he agreed to our very plain Terms and ************************************* is provided as is. You have the chance to review the product and its features during the free trial. Your purchase of the subscription indicates that you have familiarized yourself with the product and find it suitable for your needs."

      I did not give the company permission to withdraw funds from my account for an auto renewal subscription. When I contacted the company within a day they told me I was out of luck and that they do not provide refunds. I advised them I would be contacting a lawyer. I have yet to receive my funds back as I have canceled the service due to no longer needing it.
