      My complaint about Egyptair is too lengthy for this form. In a nutshell I booked a flight from ******* to ***** with Egyptair air and the ticket was in my name, "*****" which didn't match my passport, "********". I showed up three hours early at the Egyptair check in counter for my flight, they refused to allow me to check in. They then offered to change my ticket from ***** to ******** for $100.00. I said OK and then another member of the Egyptair team in ******* came over to me and said that the plane was full. I explained to him that one of the seats was mine and booked by me. He then said that if I paid him $2,300.00 in CASH that he would let me board. They wouldn't take a credit card even though I have an AMEX Platinum card. He told me to an ATM and make a withdrawal. I said I can't do that because it's far too much money. After about 15 minutes or so he came over to me and said that he would take $1,900.00 CASH if I could come up with that. In the end I ended up missing my flight and having to book with another airline in order to make my connections past *****. I feel that I Egyptair staff in ******* tried to extort me for cash. I have written Egyptair and they have actually lied in their return email. I'm getting nowhere with them. I've never end of anything like this CASH policy before.*****

      On August 1st, I flew on EgyptAir from ************** to *******. My flight number was MS982 during the process EgyptAir lost one of my luggage. I am still waiting to be compensated for my lost luggage. I was contacted by EgyptAir on September 24th, 2023. EgyptAir assigned me a claim number #****/2023, and stated their insurance company will investigate and settle my claim in 14 days. This was two months ago and I still havent been paid.

      I have a problem with EgyptAir regarding luggage... I traveled on an EgyptAir *****-****** flight, and upon arrival, my bag had broken wheels, and the second attempt was to open the lock on the bag, which was clearly visible, by one of the workers, and so far no one has cared about my complaint.

      Booked business class ticket for the family. They changed the dates of the flight 4 months after booking. The website does not allow for any changes. ******** care is unreachable through phone and no one responds to the email.

      2..boarding agent couldn't get me the boarding ticket to ********** MS981 from ************* that was supposed to take off at ***** **** he had to check with one of his colleagues and I had to wa8t for 45 minutes until they got me the boarding ticket **** I stated before anything I m having bad right knee for the moment and I needed an exit I r extra leg seat **** after waiting for 45 minutes he came with a boarding ticket saying I can't get u good seat as all good seats are blocked ,y I u can check in ***** **** I landed in ***** went to egypt Air customer service office who stated we can't do anything to you and recommend to wait for the boarding disk to open ,,,I asked for a complaint form they said we don't have , you can go online **** an ******** girle was waiting to complaint listening for me as she came after me stated she sent 8 ****** and they don't answer **** I tried to call the **** hot line found out no complaint service they just sell tickets and take money 9...later the screen told ** flight is delayed and it ll take off by ***** We got picked up to airplane by 12 midnight 10.... after another 45 minutes inside captain stated we ve to wait more as a business class seat was broken So we waited for two more hours inside the plane 11...once I had my seat I stated to the hoster please move me as I was located at 50H and two passengers beside me are extra size shape I couldn't even ve my space in my seat and the air hostel recommend to wait after taking off 12... so I had to wait for more than 3 hours with my shoulder out the seat because I had no space to set 1**** once we took of I requested again to move me nothing happened I kept asking for 6 hours 14 I ve gone mad after a short male hostel said its not his problem and I should set down

      On my MS 985 flight from CAI to JFK date 01/23/2023 Reservation no. ****** ******** **** ****** *** -The flight attendant hit my knees by the car(on purpose!) -the other tall male attendant ignored me while serving the other passengers with juice! -then the same person ignored me again while serving everyone else with coffee!! ( as a punishment because i palmed his colleague for hitting mt knees!) - the other female fat hands one was so rude and ***** with me all flight long from cairo to jfk! Now i can't even walk normally because my knees hurts,and i am waiting to see a specialist! I paid 25000 LE for that **** service on the worst airline of the ****** Egypt air!

      I'm traveling on Egypt air in 2 days and I booked tickets a couple of weeks ago. I was unable to select meals then and I've tried contacting egypt air several times, no response. When I call them it's disconnected after 1 hour of wait. This is absolutely absurd. Looking for a resolution ASAP.

      I cancelled a flight within 24 hours of the promised cancellation period and did not receive a refund.. EgyptAir policy indicates a full refund within 24-hr period cancellation. I was informed I would receive the refund after 20 days of booking. this was three months ago and tens of email exchanges. I was even promised by another agent two weeks ago that a full refund is to be expected within two days. Still have not received a refund. I was transferred between multiple departments from ******* Financial to *** online refund. This seems to be the trend looking at the reviews below. DO NOT BUY TICKETS DIRECTLY FROM EGYPTAIR. If you have to fly EgyptAir, purchase the tickets through a third party like *********.

      Hi BBB,I purchased two business class Egyptair flight tickets through their online website (Egyptair.com) on November 5th 2021. Booking reservation number: ******. I cancelled the tickets on November 26th 2021. The airline stated on their website that we can ask for a refund, in case of cancellation. I contacted them multiple times by phone but no answer. I tried to contact them on their ******** page, one of the agents replied and mentioned that I will get my refund in 21 business days. Time passed and I did not receive my money yet and they do not even update me on the situation every time I try to ask again..Thank you

      The tickets were 2 round tickets from ******* to *****, business class tickets. I hope Egyptair would reply this time.
