I signed up and paid for an art class in the spring that, due to a severe flare-up of an ongoing health issue, I could not attend. I withdrew before the second class. The Studios rule is that if you cancel by the second class, you are able to receive a refund. I was not offered a refund but instead a studio credit. At the time, I did not argue because I thought I would utilize the credit. In September, I attempted to apply the credit to a private class booking for my birthday. I communicated the booking via email with an employee named ******. It was such an overwhelmingly negative customer experience with an immensely challenging person. I got so frustrated and upset over my dealings with him and the Art Studio that the thought of proceeding with him and the booking was unimaginable. it was all such a stressful and unaccommodating experience. After I told him that I would not proceed with the booking, he told me he had the right (if he wanted to) to keep my $349 credit just for discussing the possible booking. This business denied me my right to a refund in the first place. Now, after a horrific experience, ensuring that I will never return, I am absolutely due a refund and by no means should be stuck with a credit that I will never utilize. Customers should be warned of this business, its terrible customer support, and its dishonest financial structure. I am requesting assistance from the BBB in receiving a full refund from this business.
