I was looking for jobs on indeed when the website IAPWE emailed me asking me if I would like to be part of their association for writers so that I could easily find writing jobs. I could not see the contents of the website before signing up, but when I signed up, they force you to create a subscription to get money taken out even if you want to be a person that uses the website for free. When I finally got into the website after signing up for the free months I realized that it was nothing like how they advertised it. It was basically just a hub full of other jobs for writing. So essentially it was just indeed again, but for writing and it wasnt what I was looking for, and it wasnt what I was promised. I did some research on the website and I found out that they normally typically do this where they act as if theyre reading your writing Prompt that you submitted and theyve selected you but in all honesty, they choose everybody because theyre garnering money from the actual subscriptions. in less than 24 hours, I canceled my subscription and still for the last three months I was getting charged. I dont have access to the site since I canceled the subscription. I have no access to the site, but they still kept taking money from my account through ******. I messaged them individually through an email that was sent to me from ****** and theyre sending my cancellation up for review. I dont understand what they are reviewing. I canceled my subscription. I am no longer using their site. I dont have access to my profile in their site so they are just essentially taking money from me and theyre reviewing the possibility that I can , remove myself from their subscription program. It doesnt make sense. When you research them you find out that its very difficult to cancel your subscription and Im seeing that it is absolutely a head ache even going through ****** to get it removed.

they emailed me saying they received my request for cancellation and they will review it. They have not yet cancelled my subscription. It has been over a month and they have just taken money out of my account again.

We can confirm that much of what the complainant has stated is demonstrably false, however, we can also confirm that their membership subscription has now been cancelled.

We are not accusing the complainant of lying, however, it is not possible for them to have been charged after their free trial ended if they had canceled the free trial like they claimed.

I entered the IAPWE website *********************************** one time to check it out , I may have linked my ****** account to subscribe (i don't remember doing so its been a long time) but the same day after searching i found out its a SCAM so i unsubscribed immediatly (from their site) and regardless of me unsubscribing and even tho i have never set an automatic payment for them , I found out an automatic payment a recurring one is set in ****** wish i never set up , So today 11/09/1997 i removed my card from ****** thats the only way i could stop this. I hope for a refund cause thats a lot of money i needed it for an urgent matter.

With all due respect, what the complainant has stated is not physically possible. The only possible way that the complainant could have set up any free trial and/or paid membership, would have been by agreeing to the payment terms on our website as well as an additional second time on PayPal's own website. Furthermore, the complainant would have had to actively complete a signup process on PayPal's website, providing their information in order to activate any subscription. We can confirm that any charge applied to the complainant's account was valid, not eligible for any refund, and that the complainant's account has now been cancelled. The images provided by the complainant as part of their complaint in no way serve to substantiate any of the demonstrably false claims made in their complaint.

I've used all the emails and phone number ************** I've been able to find: ************************************ ******************************** *********************************** ********************************* ******************************************** to cancel my subscription and membership. All email addresses get an undeliverable bounce back and their number just has an automated recording to fill out their contact form in their website which is not even there. I've filled out their online cancellation form multiple times!!!! When you look up their address it says "WE ARE SCAMMERS". I need this cancelled before 9/5/24. How are these people still able to operate after all of the BBB complaints. They are obvious scammers.

See attached pdfs and photos of my numerous attempts of contact and getting empty responses from your email. Every time i emailed you, i received an undeliverable response. I have my record of the PayPal claim as well with all of this. Your fallacy of a response is destructive to consumers, calling me a liar while I have all records showing otherwise is disgusting.

On April 21, 2024 I upgraded my free IAPWE account membership to a paid membership for the amount of $2.99 per month. I provided my bank debit card for the recurring charge. Their email stated I would receive an emailed receipt but that didn't happen. The IAPWE was of no use to me during this paid membership and so I canceled my account through my online account (they don't answer the phone listed to them, only have a message saying there's no staff to take calls) on July 27, 2024. I received an email stating that I need to cancel the subscription through my ****** account, which I had one but no bank account was tied to it, and after notifying IAPWE of this situation and that my membership was coming directly from my debit card/bank account, I received this reply: On Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at 09:51:58 PM EDT, Updates ************************************ wrote:Hi *****,Thank you for reaching out to us. We have sent a cancelation request on your behalf.Best regards,IAPWE Account Support *********************************** ********************************** Today, August 22, 2024, there is a pending charge in my bank account from ******************** for the $2.99. I again emailed IAPWE and in the meantime disputed the charge with my bank. I also called the number listed for this group and again received a message stating no one answers their phone - ************.

I have tried to cancel my "membership" through this organisation for month now. They continue to charge my bank account even though I told them if they did not follow through that I would contact the BBB and eventually escalate from there

We are not showing that we received any communication from the complainant requesting assistance with cancellation. We have now cancelled the complainant's account and no refund is warranted in this case since the complainant was on a month-to-month subscription that could be cancelled at any time and our records do not show they reached out to us requesting any assistance.

I've applied for the job and the email I've received mention free plan, so I subscribed with my **** card. Later found out, free plan cost almost 5$ per month. Subscribed on 1.8.2024, unsubscribed on 1.8.2024. Receive email to remove automatic payment from ******* Since I don't use ******* I need a confirmation that I successfully cancelled that subscription. I also sent several emails to them, attached the proof that I cancelled the subscription.

We can confirm that the complainant was provided with instructions on how to cancel their account but never followed these steps. We can confirm that the complainant's account is now cancelled, however, a refund is not indicated due to the specifics surrounding the complainant's situation and relevant account details.

I was contacted by the business via LinkedIn promising me an official job. When I signed up for a free trial subscription with this business, I learned afterward there was never a job actually offered and was being made to pay for their services, and my personal information was being given away. I followed the cancellation instructions on the website and received the confirmation email, that instructed me to cancel the automatic payment to IAPWE on my PayPal account itself, which I complied and even de-linked my debit card in use from there. However, despite canceling automatic payments, it appeared that I could still log in to my account, and the ********************** membership status remained active. I tried requesting IAPWE to cancel my membership and permanently delete my account via email. However, customer support email asked for my PayPal ID, even though I have already cancelled my account directly from PayPal and their website.
